Zagros Airlines Company was founded in 2005 and incorporated in Arvand free Trade and Industrial Zone. The operation of Zagros Airlines started off by hiring two leased Tupolev-154 aircrafts flying domestically. Soon after the first international flight to Damascus was successfully done. Shortly Zagros added up more aircrafts to it’s fleet and achieved a high standing rank among the well-known airlines to play a significant role in the market. Obtaining the Part-145 approval for its aircrafts maintenance and engineering, moreover constructing catering section equipped with latest and modern technology, has led Zagros Airlines to be effective in improving flight services. Furthermore the company with professional and experienced manpower always tries to organize safe and secure flights both inside of country and abroad. Nowadays Zagros Airlines has a fleet of 14 aircrafts, which consists of 4 Airbus A320 and 10 Boeing / MD targeting 20 aircrafts by the end of 2015. Offering plus seats daily, ready to fly to all domestic and international airports and also over the past year, the company has been able to handle more than passengers, indicating 20 percent growth in domestic and 60 percent in international routes. Zagros Airlines with medium and long term plans, endeavors to set it’s sights on adding aircrafts, such as Airbus and Boeing, building an extensive hangar based on international standards in Mashhad Metropolis, training, improving required aircrew and registering Zagros Airlines in the international air transport association ( IATA ). With the support of Divine, as well as the efforts of the Airlines’ management and all the hard working staff, hopping to advance the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran and improving the transportation industry to serve our honorable people.
