Iran Aseman Airlines
Legal bill on formation of Iran Aseman Airlines approved on June 16, 1980. As of the date, the following establishments: 1-Air Taxi Company 2- Pars air Company 3- Air Service Company 4- Hoor asseman Airlines 5- Helicopter Company of Iran 6- Helicopter Service Company of Iran are merged and Aseman company formed. In March 2007 it was owned by Iranian Civil Pension Fund Investment Company. Iran Airtour Airline
Iran Airtour was established in 1973 and started scheduled operations in the early 1990s. Beginning in the early 1990s and continuing into early 2010s, Iran Air Tours operated Soviet-made aircraft, primarily the Tupolev Tu-154M. Iran Airtour Airline has been transferred to private sector since 2011 with a new board of directors. After Iranian Tupolev Tu-154 aircraft was grounded in February 2011, Iran Airtour was faced with loss of its primary type. Now Iran Airtour operates five MD-80 series aircraft, four A300, Two A310, one A320.

Iranian Airports Holding Company State Airports Company
Based on note 1 of law for amendment of Article(5) of civil Aviation law ratified on April 15, 1988 by Islamic consultative parliament and according to its constitution approved on november 3,1990 by board of directors, Iranian Airports company was at first established under the title of “ Airports Engineering company.” The word “Engineering” was omitted from the title of the company by virtue of the ratification of the board of directors on June 22,1994. After some amendments in its constitution, the company has been doing its duties under the title of “ Iranian Airports company on the basis of the ratification of Adminisrative High council on january 10,1995 and assigned functions in law related to economic, social and cultural development of the country in the field of reforming the structure of public organizations and making them more efficient with regard to policies of transportation section, all administrative and tenure functions of civil Aviation company has been transferred to Iranian Airports company. By virtue of its constitution approved by board of directors on December 5,2004 Iranian Airports company is considered as a holding company enjoying independent financial and legal structure. It is affiliated to the ministry of road and transportation and is already run by public company’s laws and regulations.

Zagros Airlines Company was founded in 2005 and incorporated in Arvand free Trade and Industrial Zone. The operation of Zagros Airlines started off by hiring two leased Tupolev-154 aircrafts flying domestically. Soon after the first international flight to Damascus was successfully done. Shortly Zagros added up more aircrafts to it’s fleet and achieved a high standing rank among the well-known airlines to play a significant role in the market. Obtaining the Part-145 approval for its aircrafts maintenance and engineering, moreover constructing catering section equipped with latest and modern technology, has led Zagros Airlines to be effective in improving flight services. Caspian Airlines (Persian: هواپیمایی کاسپین) is an airline headquartered in Tehran, Iran. Established in 1993, it operates services between Tehran and other major cities in Iran and international flights to Ukraine, Armenia, Turkey, United Arab Emirate, Syria, and Iraq. Its main base is Mehrabad International Airport, Tehran. From Jan 2010 Caspian Airlines no longer operates Tupolev aircraft Tu-154m and Now it operates Boeing 737-400 and MD-80 series aircraft. In Jan 2011 Caspian Airlines signed a joint-venture agreement with Ararat Engineering Company for the maintenance of the MD-82 and with UM airlines for MD-83. In March 2013 Caspian Airlines withdraw maintenance agreement because starting under their own maintenance service program. Arvand Airlines, which is one of the premier private Air liners in IRAN, started its activities on April 1998 at Abadan city under registration number of 1187 and organizing to provide it’s top chart and selecting and employing deputy of operations, maintenance and engineering, commercial, safety (OCC & QA), support & scheduling, airport services and also employing flight crew as needed in 1998 immediately after receiving permission from IR.CAO with 3 digits code IRD and practically being operational. The first TU-154M passenger type aircraft landed on Aug 1998 at Abadan airport receiving from republic of Tatarestan (Kazan city). Continuing signing contract to receive two Y8 from china as lease purchase in and landed at same airport (Abadan) with cargo capacity of max 20 tones for short routes. Employing about 150 people for it’s flight and ground services as flight attendant, Ground handling, administration and financial and ticketing. Company activities stopped some periods for some reasons but recently in 2013 received it’s permission from IR.CAO again as been valid and decided to be operational again and will continue it’s activities at least with 6 airplanes regarding to recent valid permission at the end of current year.

Atlas Air is currently the first private air taxi company in Iran, operating in full compliance with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran. Atlas Air received the necessary permits for maintenance (Part 145) and Airworthiness Continuing (CAMO) from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran and proceeded to develop the necessary infrastructure.
