Redcliff Zambezi Lodge, Lower Zambezi River, Zambia
Redcliff Zambezi Lodge lies nestled deep within the majestic beauty of the unspoiled African scenery. We are located a few hours’ drive from Lusaka, lying along the Northern banks of the majestic Lower Zambezi River. Deriving our name from the stunning, red-coloured cliffs that face our picturesque lodge, our haven’s location serves as the perfect tiger fishing destination. In addition to the abundance of fish in our waters, we’re also a mere stone’s throw away from the gorgeous Mupata Gorge – a scenic location begging to be explored. We originally launched our business as Redcliff Zambezi Fishing Safaris in 1997, with tiger fishing being our main focus. By the time we’d finished building, back in it had become apparent to us that the area as a whole had the potential to be so much more. In addition to the remoteness of the location, we also boast a close proximity to a veritable wealth of cultural history. In short, Redcliff Lodge truly is the ideal getaway destination for both adventure and relaxation. When we designed the lodge, we had 3 main priorities- Environmental sensitivity- The privacy of our guests- Ensuring magnificent views awaited all of our guests. Chalets are conveniently spaced under large, shady riparian trees. This spares them from a significant amount of heat generated from the African sun, and ensures privacy for all.
