Aéroport De Figari - Sud Corse

Figari Sud Corse, c’est l’aéroport situé entre Bonifacio et Porto-Vecchio, pour désenclaver et contribuer au développement économique de tout l'Extrême Sud de la Corse. Ouvert au trafic national et international, 17ème aéroport au niveau national, il est le troisième de l'Île de Beauté derrière Ajaccio et Bastia, avec près de passagers transportés en 2023 et le premier aéroport de Corse en terme de trafic « affaires » 10 compagnies aériennes impulsent la dynamique aéroportuaire de la région : Air Corsica, Air France, Air Mountain, Bristish Airways, EasyJet, Edelweiss, Luxair, Ryanair, Transavia, Volotea 40 lignes desservent Figari avec respectivement 28 lignes nationales et 12 lignes internationales à travers 6 pays : France, Angleterre, Belgique, Italie, Luxembourg, Suisse. La plate-forme aéroportuaire est gérée par la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Corse (CCIC), concessionnaire et la Collectivité de Corse en est propriétaire. La concession d’aménagement et d’exploitation de l’aéroport a été signée le 22/12/2005 pour une durée de 15 ans et prorogée jusqu’au 31/12/2024. L’aéroport Figari Sud Corse est engagé dans une démarche de développement durable en matière de réduction d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre, et a obtenu la certification Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA), Niveau 2. Pour obtenir ce niveau 2, il fallait démontrer que les émissions totales de l’année la plus récente (soit 2022) était inférieures à la moyenne des trois dernières années, ce qui a notamment impliqué de mettre en œuvre des actions de réduction de la consommation d’électricité. Depuis 2023, l’aéroport, désireux d’aller plus loin dans la démarche environnementale, a adhéré à l’association « Aéro Biodiversité » afin de permettre d’identifier, de protéger et de valoriser la biodiversité aéroportuaire dans le respect des consignes de sécurité.
