Zračna luka Mostar je otvorena za civilni zračni promet 1965. godine, isključivo za domaće letove. Godine 1984, Zračna luka Mostar je proglašena alternativnom zračnom lukom za Međunarodnu Zračnu luku Sarajevo tijekom Olimpijskih Igara time stječući status međunarodne zračne luke. Rekordni broj od putnika u predratnom razdoblju je bio 1990 godine. Bilo je opravdano očekivati da će 1991 godina donijeti povećani broj od putnika, no nažalost počeli su oružani sukobi i s tim je prekinut i civilni zračni promet s zadnjim letom izvršenim u studenom 1991. Zračna luka Mostar je ponovno otvorena za zračni promet 07. srpnja 1998. godine. Spaljena i devastirana zgrada terminala s kompletnom infrastrukturom je u potpunosti renovirana financiranjem Europske zajednice. Zračna luka Mostar je na prelazu u novi razvojni period koji je označen ulaganjima Europske zajednice u modernizaciju njenih objekata i nabavke opreme za prihvat zrakoplova i putnika, kao i kapitalna ulaganja i razvoj infrastrukture od strane Vlade Federacije BiH zadnjih godina. Sa sigurnošću možemo reći kako će Zračna luka Mostar, dosegnuvši visoke standarde opremljenosti i stručne osposobljenosti njenog osoblja u skoroj budućnosti biti važan turistički i gospodarski subjekt cijele regije. Tuzla International Airport
This is the official linkedIn profile of Tuzla International Airport. Tuzla International Airport was established by the Assembly of the Tuzla - Podrinje Canton with the Law on the Establishment of JP International Airport Tuzla - Dubrave Airport in 1998. Based on the Dayton Peace Agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the BiH Council of Ministers and the IFOR peacekeeping forces, the same year the airport was opened for civilian air traffic and served as a joint military/civilian airport. In the period from 10.10.1998. until 01.12.2006. In 2008, JP Tuzla International Airport was closed three times to civilian air traffic by international military peacekeeping forces, which used the Dubrava air base as a priority for their own air operations. On December 1, 2006, international peacekeeping military forces completely left the Dubrava air base. After the departure of the international peacekeeping forces, JP Međunarodni Aerodrom Tuzla ensured the technical conditions for meeting ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards and on 05.06.2008. obtained a temporary Certificate for the Public Use of Airports in International Air Traffic for a period of one year. With the acquisition of this Certificate, the airport is open for civil air traffic. By the implementation of the inspection supervision of authorized institutions for civil aviation of BiH, 05.06.2009. JP International Airport Tuzla has obtained a Certificate for public use in international air traffic for an unlimited period of time.
