The Beijing Arbitration Commission (“BAC”) is a not-for-profit permanent organization devoted to the providing of a forum for impartial and efficient alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation. Mission The BAC focuses on contractual and property-related disputes, both commercial and international, among citizens, legal persons and other organizations. Since its founding, the BAC has grown into the foremost arbitration commission in China. From an initial annual load of only a handful of cases, today the BAC consistently ranks among the top in both cases accepted and total disputed amount. The BAC provides its services of arbitration and mediation as well as Dispute Board on construction disputes. BAC arbitrations emphasize three qualities: Impartiality: In regards to impartiality the BAC remains the arbitration commission economically independent of the government, thus ensuring a minimum of state intrusion or conflicts of interest. Parties moreover have the ability to challenge any arbitrators who appear biased. Expertise: Arbitrators are selected on the basis of expertise and include some of the foremost experts in law, trade, economics, business practices as well as other fields. Shenzhen Court Of International Arbitration Scia
Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (also known as South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, or Shenzhen Arbitration Commission, formerly known as CIETAC South China Sub-Commission and CIETAC Shenzhen Sub-Commission, hereinafter referred to as "SCIA"), was established in 1983 and was the first arbitration institution established at the provincial and municipal level. Moreover, it was the first arbitration institution in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region after China's reform and opening up. Over the past 38 years, SCIA has actively promoted the innovative development of China's international arbitration within the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen. In 1984, it took the lead in employing overseas arbitrators. In 1989, SCIA became the first arbitration institution of China whose arbitral award was enforced overseas in accordance with the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards (the “New York Convention"). The arbitration and mediation services provided by SCIA has been extended to 119 countries and regions worldwide.

Shanghai International Arbitration Center Shiac
Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center, previously named as China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission Shanghai Sub-Commission, hereinafter referred to as "SHIAC") was established by the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai in 1988 with the official approval of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. SHIAC is an international commercial arbitration institution providing independent, fair, professional, and efficient dispute resolution services for various domestic and foreign commercial entities. Currently, the fourth session of the SHIAC’s Committee comprises a total of 13 members from fields of economy and law, including three overseas members. The SHIAC's Secretariat is responsible for daily operations.

Mainland - Hong Kong Joint Mediation Center
Following the development of the "Belt and Road” and the National 13th Five-year Plan, cross-border trade and cooperation in other areas are expected to increase. To cater for the increasing demand for dispute resolution services by these enterprises, the Mainland - Hong Kong Joint Mediation Center (MHJMC) was collaboratively set up by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT)/ China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Mediation Center and the Hong Kong Mediation Centre with vigorous support from the Department of Justice of Hong Kong. Being the first joint mediation center set up by major mediation institutions in Hong Kong and Mainland, MHJMC provides a new platform for cooperation in mediation in two places. The dual advantages under the principles of "One country” and "Two systems” have enabled Hong Kong to act as a neutral venue for cross-border dispute resolution services for local, Mainland and international enterprises, thus enhancing the status of Hong Kong as the dispute resolution center of the Asia Pacific region. Moreover, to further enhance the development of mediation in the Mainland, MHJMC sets up professional standards for mediators and mediation advocates, establishes professional mediation accreditation mechanism in China and assists in refining mediation training in China, enhancing professional standards of mediation in the Mainland.

上海仲裁委员会 Shanghai Arbitration Commission
Shanghai Arbitration Commission (hereinafter “SHAC”) is a permanent arbitral institution established by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in 1995 and registered with the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice. As one of the first seven pioneering arbitral institutions set up in China, the SHAC has been enabling significant influence of arbitration as a method of alternative dispute resolution. Since its establishment, SHAC has administrated over cases accumulatively with a total amount in dispute of approximately RMB 200 billion, and has facilitated parties to resolve commercial disputes through independent, impartial, professional and efficient arbitration services. In July 2021, the new governing body of the SHAC (the 7th Commission) was established through the appointments by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The 7th Commission will endeavor to navigate the SHAC to a leading arbitral institution in the region.
