Eodid Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization
EODID Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization was founded on the initiative of NOMIKI BIBLIOTHIKI Publishing Group and a team of prominent Judges (retired), Academics and Lawyers, with the exclusive purpose of providing mediation and arbitration services in Greece and abroad. Incorporated as a société anonyme under Greek law in March 2016, EODID Athens is assisted in its work by a Supervisory Board and an Arbitration Board, whose broad scope and increased decision-making powers enhance the integrity, reliability and quality of EODID services. Regarding arbitration hosting in particular, EODID Athens draws from the considerable experience of its predecessor, Nomiki Bibliothiki; since the latter has hosted in its premises hundreds of national and international arbitral proceedings with the participation of leading law firms and the largest enterprises per industry from Greece and abroad. EODID Athens brings this experience a step further and offers comprehensive alternative dispute resolution support services. Interested parties may file a dispute resolution request with regard to any dispute eligible for mediation or arbitration. EODID Athens will then take all necessary steps towards a prompt, cost-effective and efficient resolution thereof.

Resolve Mediators
RESOLVE Mediators founders, Spyros Antonelos, Eleni Plessa and Irini Matsouka, are amongst Greek mediation pioneers, accredited by CIArb in 2008, 2010 and 2011 respectively. They are regularly mediating since 2012 in successful civil and commercial mediations in Greece and abroad, some of which made the object of legal articles or drew the attention of the media. RESOLVE founders have written two well-known mediation books in Greek ("Mediation: International experience and Greek implementation" and "Mediation for all"). As Trainers, they have trained more than 450 accredited mediators and mediation advocates at the Athens Bar Mediators Training Centre since 2012. They actively support mediation awareness since 2011 through 141 seminars, speeches in conferences and workshops for entrepreneurs, judges and lawyers, in Greece and abroad, attended by 8.500 people. They have collaborated with 19 Greek Bar Associations and 12 Chambers of Commerce. RESOLVE Mediators are often members of Law-making Committees, advise Bar Associations and Ministries and contribute to Greek and international mediation progress in domestic and international fora and associations.

The Athens Econam Conference
Το EconAM απευθύνεται κυρίως σε φοιτητές νομικών και οικονομικών (Economics and Business) σχολών, συνδυάζοντας για πρώτη φορά στο ίδιο συνέδριο τα δύο ακαδημαϊκά και γνωστικά αντικείμενα. Αποτελείται από δύο σκέλη: το πρώτο (workshops) περιλαμβάνει ομιλίες επαγγελματιών του χώρου που θα καταρτίσουν τους συμμετέχοντες για τις βασικές αρχές και ειδικότερα θέματα που αφορούν τις εμπορικές διαπραγματεύσεις, τη σύναψη σύμβασης καθώς και την επίλυση διαφορών μέσω της διαμεσολάβησης και της διαιτησίας; το δεύτερο (προσομοίωση) αποτελεί ευκαιρία για τους συμμετέχοντες να εφαρμοσουν όσα έμαθαν και να αναλάβουν οι ίδιοι το ρόλο του CEO ή του Νομικού Συμβούλου εταιρίας. Έτσι, χωρίζονται σε ομάδες (δύο επιχειρήσεις) και διαπραγματεύονται με σκοπό την κατάρτιση συμβολαίου σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες που αντλούν από το αναλυτικό Casebook. Στη συνέχεια, η Οργανωτική Επιτροπή “δημιουργεί” μια πλασματική διαφορά την οποία οι συμμετέχοντες καλούνται να επιλύσουν χρησιμοποιώντας είτε τη διαμεσολάβηση είτε τη διαιτησία (εναλλακτικοί τρόποι επίλυσης διαφορών: Alternative Dispute Resolution - ADR).

Adr Point
ADR point is an innovation point for alternative dispute resolution services in Greece and Europe. It is the only private Center for Alternative Resolution of Consumer Disputes in Greece and one of the first private Centers for Negotiation, Mediation and Electronic Dispute Resolution in Europe. It has the approval of the national authority, Ministry of Finance & Development, General Secretariat for Commerce & Consumer Protection, it is notified to the European Commission on the basis of the 2013/11 ADR Directive and it is an official EU body registered with the EU ODR Platform. Disputes take out so much of our energy. So, what is our first thought? To get a good and fast solution. This is exactly what we do in ADR point. We respond to the contemporary needs of the parties to get a simple and fast settlement of their dispute. ADR point provides settlement services to the common interest of both parties. So they avoid tedious litigation, excessive costs, tensions and the uncertain outcome of a judicial decision.

We started with a dream to educate people The ADR Hellenic Center, is a non-profit organization that was established in Thessaloniki – Greece in 2012, on an initiative of a group of experts in the field of justice and mediation with the aim of providing a high level of mediation services and training services in mediation and conflict resolution, both in Europe and internationally. What we do Our main areas of intervention have been: ·lobbing and advocacy for establishment of the legal framework for mediation in Greece, establishment of mediation networks in the main cities of Greece. ·worldwide awareness-raising in the areas of mediation, negotiation, facilitation, reconciliation, restorative justice, peer mediation, etc, tailored to the needs of state institutions, civil society actors, local government and schools, ·capacity building through administration of training programs in ADR/Mediation at basic and advanced level. Why we do it A simple understanding of fundamental mediation principles points to the unlimited potential of mediation in all kinds of disputes. We believe that the institution of mediation has already started paving the way to a new standard in the conflict resolution paradigm of our society. The future generations are those who can take the next step to this world-changing shift. That’s why our mission is contributing to the promotion of alternative dispute resolution and especially mediation in the areas of civil, commercial, medical / bioethics and family law, while also training as many young people as possible in the ways of mediation. HOW WE DO IT We have created pioneering training programs in the fields of mediation, workplace conflict, family mediation, negotiations, advanced mediation, peer mediation, mediation in healthcare, empathy and soft skills in clinical settings, and more. ·Closed groups of 4-8 people.

The Mediation Lab
The Mediation Lab is a Private Organization under the auspices of which, ADR and Mediation related projects, trainings and activities are designed, promoted and implemented. The Mediation Lab has offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. Maria Chatzileonida and Maria Faropoulou, co founders of the Mediation Lab, both attorneys at law with a specialization in international business, banking and finance law, are engaged in the field of mediation practice and mediation training since 2009.

Ο Φορέας Κατάρτισης Διαμεσολαβητών του Παντείου Πανεπιστήμιου συστάθηκε στις αρχές του 2020 και σκοπός του είναι, ιδίως: α) η παροχή υπηρεσιών βασικής εκπαίδευσης στους υποψηφίους διαμεσολαβητές και μετεκπαίδευσης στους διαμεσολαβητές για την απόκτηση γνώσεων και δεξιοτήτων που είναι αναγκαίες για την άσκηση της διαμεσολάβησης, β) ο σχεδιασμός προγραμμάτων εκπαίδευσης και μετεκπαίδευσης, καθώς και γ) η δημοσιότητα και προβολή του θεσμού της διαμεσολάβησης και η παροχή κάθε σχετικής πληροφορίας στο ευρύ κοινό.

Συνηγοροσ Του Καταναλωτη
Λειτουργεί ως εξωδικαστικό όργανο συναινετικής επίλυσης των καταναλωτικών διαφορών. Στην εποπτεία της Αρχής υπάγονται και οι Επιτροπές Φιλικού Διακανονισμού που εδρεύουν στους κατά τόπους Δήμους της χώρας. Ο Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή αναλαμβάνει την άμεση και ανέξοδη διαμεσολάβηση για τη φιλική διευθέτηση διαφορών των καταναλωτών ή των ενώσεών τους με προμηθευτές του δημόσιου και του ιδιωτικού τομέα. Επιλαμβάνεται των υποθέσεων της αρμοδιότητάς του αυτεπαγγέλτως ή κατόπιν σχετικής ενυπόγραφης αναφοράς ενός τουλάχιστον των ενδιαφερόμενων μερών που υποβάλλεται εντός τριών (3) μηνών αφότου ο ενδιαφερόμενος έλαβε πλήρη γνώση της βλαπτικής γι’ αυτόν πράξης ή παράλειψης που συνιστά την καταναλωτική διαφορά. Οι καταγγελίες των καταναλωτών εξετάζονται αντικειμενικά και αμερόληπτα με βάση την αρχή της εκατέρωθεν ακροάσεως, κατά τρόπο ώστε η διαδικασία που ακολουθείται να παρέχει τη δυνατότητα σε όλα τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη να κοινοποιούν τις απόψεις τους στην Αρχή και να ενημερώνονται για τα επιχειρήματα και τα γεγονότα που ισχυρίζεται το άλλο μέρος. Ο Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή και οι Επιτροπές Φιλικού Διακανονισμού προτείνουν τη φιλική διευθέτηση της διαφοράς, επιδιώκοντας τον συμβιβασμό των εμπλεκόμενων μερών. Από την 1η Ιανουαρίου 2012 λειτουργεί υπό την εποπτεία και στήριξη της Αρχής το Ευρωπαϊκό Κέντρο Καταναλωτή. Σκοπός του είναι η πληροφόρηση και η εξωδικαστική επίλυση διαφορών μεταξύ προμηθευτών και καταναλωτών που έχουν ανακύψει από συναλλαγές που οι καταναλωτές πραγματοποίησαν σε κράτη-μέλη της Ένωσης εκτός της χώρας διαμονής τους.
