Since its inception on 1 April 1924, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) has been a combat-tested force with decades of experience in the full spectrum of operations—from domestic security, search and rescue, humanitarian aid and crisis assistance to expeditionary combat operations. The RCAF is modernizing and evolving in response to a rapidly changing security environment. This evolution includes the introduction of tools never employed before by the RCAF, and upgrading or replacing a considerable proportion of our capabilities. Capability renewal and investment will allow us to maintain pace with allies and adversaries while remaining a cutting-edge air and space force. The RCAF of 2035 will look very different from the RCAF of today. Ctoms Inc
Leave nothing to chance. Control the chaos. CTOMS™ started as a training company, and first and foremost, CTOMS™ remains a training company. We believe that it is essential to first become effectively trained to rely on yourself and not your equipment. We believe it is essential to first become educated in order to make effective equipment choices which then enhance the individuals knowledge and skill, and not as compensation for a lack thereof. With that said, there is also a lot to be said about the right tool for the right job, but navigating the market and deciphering between fancy marketing and credible data in order to make the best equipment decisions can be daunting. Being a training company first sets our priorities; our approach to 'marketing' is education. The decision to bring a product to market is based on requirement, research, data and common sense. The Evolution of Tactical Medicine℠ is the concept that CTOMS™ was founded upon, but we are all a product of our experience. Because our backgrounds are so multifaceted it was impossible for us to get stuck in the "Tactical Medicine" box. Our passions are rooted in tactical casualty management, and this is where we excel, however you'll see the evolution of our training and products venture beyond this from broad spectrum requirements to niche specialty solutions, within our arcs of experience, but beyond just Tactical Medicine.

Ppcli Association
The Mission of the PPCLI Association is to support the interests of our Regiment. The Association was formed to foster and maintain the spirit of the Regiment, to circulate information regarding the Regiment amongst its members, and to perpetuate the close comradeship, mutual regard and esprit de corps formed amongst all ranks while serving in the Regiment. August 2014 marks the 100 years of service to Canada by Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. The Regiment was founded by an act philanthropy when in August 1914 Montreal businessman Andrew Hamilton Gault's offer of $100,00 for the purpose of raising and equipping a regiment was accepted by the Government of Canada. The Regiment was to be composed of veterans and would be the first Canadians in the field in World War I. Since that time more than 1,850 Patricia's have fallen in the service of Canada, in all her wars, in peacekeeping and peace support operations, in operations in Canada and elsewhere. Over the 100 years of its history, many more thousands of other members of this Regiment have been wounded or injured through their service to this nation.

538 'buffalo' Royal Canadian Air Cadets Squadron
The first of four Air Cadet Squadrons now in the City of Calgary was organized in December of 1940 and designated 52 'City of Calgary' Squadron. In the fall of 1950, a group of former-RCAF members saw a need for a second Air Cadet Squadron in the city. Under the sponsorship of 70l Wing, Royal Canadian Air Force Association, 538 Buffalo Squadron came into being. To avoid the possibility of issuing a number to the new Squadron only to find that sufficient numbers of cadets were not recruited; the Air Cadet League assigned the name ‘Buffalo Squadron’ to the new Calgary unit. The Squadron surpassed the required strength quota in a very short time and in October 1951, the Air Cadet League of Canada presented the Squadron with its Charter. It was because of this decision that our name has remained 538 Buffalo Squadron.
