Bullets & Bandaids
Bullets and Bandaids is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to breaking down social barriers between veterans and civilians through the transformative power of storytelling and art. Our program begins with interviews with veterans from across the world, covering a wide spectrum of experiences — from World War II to modern conflicts, from privates to generals, and across diverse cultural and social backgrounds. These stories are entrusted to civilian writers, who translate them into compelling narratives that remain true to the individual’s voice. Each narrative is then interpreted by visual artists, resulting in original works of art that embody the story in new, profound ways. The final collection is showcased in immersive exhibitions, published anthologies, and voice-over recordings for accessibility. Together, these works spark empathy, healing, and dialogue between communities while honoring the lived experiences of veterans and the civilians who share their journey. Since our founding, we have collaborated with Pulitzer Prize–winning journalists, poet laureates, Emmy-nominated filmmakers, and internationally renowned artists. Our exhibitions have been featured at institutions such as the Columbia Museum of Art and the Ringling College of Art and Design, with interest expressed from the Smithsonian and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Volume 5 of our project includes participants from 18 countries across 6 continents, making Bullets and Bandaids a truly global initiative. At its heart, Bullets and Bandaids is about honoring humanity through creative collaboration. By giving space to honest, unfiltered stories — including those addressing PTSD, sexual trauma, racial disparities, LGBTQ issues, government neglect, resilience, and humor — we remind the world that every voice matters and that art can be a bridge to healing and understanding.

Crusaders Valor For Veterans
The Cowgirl brand is at the heart of Crusaders Valor for Veterans, dedicated to honoring and supporting those who served. We are driven by the tragic statistic that 22 veterans take their lives each day. Having witnessing my son's struggles with PTSD after returning from Afghanistan, sadly, he almost became one of the 22 veterans that take their own lives everyday. I learned to understand the hidden demons that many veterans face. We emphasize the importance of providing tangible support beyond mere gestures of gratitude, recognizing the profound impact of mental health issues among returning servicemen and women. Through compassionate, heartfelt one-on-one conversations, we listen to veterans, showing them they are not forgotten or alone. We pray and strive to reduce veteran suicide to zero. Cowgirls embody the core values of integrity, honesty, and respect, building trust and inspiring a call to action. We embrace our traditions to help raise money to buy groceries for veterans in need nationwide. Veterans should never be hungry or homelessness. Join Crusaders Valor For Veterans in their mission to support and honor those who have served. Thank you for standing with us in making a difference. valorforveterans.us Please follow and support the cause at:

First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry
The First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry is a purely volunteer cavalry troop and was the first organized in defense of the colonies. Today the Troop is certainly the oldest mounted military unit and quite possibly the oldest military unit of any kind that has been in continuous service to the Republic. The times that called it into being, and the character of the original members who fought through the seven years of the American Revolution, together forged concepts of service and a body of tradition that have given it a continuity of purpose since 1774.

Heidrea For Heroes
Heidrea for Heroes is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit providing custom support to veterans who are facing hardships and transition challenges in civilian life. Our MISSION is to provide adaptive housing renovations, vehicle modifications, qualified home repairs, specialized mobility equipment, veteran/family support, immediate utility/rent relief, and workforce readiness programs that motivate veterans and families to move forward through challenges. By providing a positive direction for our U.S. veterans during unexpected hardships, we honor their service. We often partner with businesses and individuals who appreciate the sacrifices our veterans have made for our country and who want to give back. Some of our donors have engaged with us because past charitable work has left them feeling like their gift wasn't meaningful for a large organization; disconnected due to services benefitting those removed from their local community; or frustrated by lack of transparency. Heidrea for Heroes is a small, local non-profit working every day to serve veterans in southeastern MA. We offer a range of business partnership levels, and, if desired, an option to restrict your donation to support individual veteran projects only. From large gifts to small ones, the generosity of community members makes a real difference for our organization and drives our work. Any veteran from Bristol, Norfolk, Plymouth, Barnstable or (parts of) Middlesex and (parts of) Worcester Counties are eligible to apply for support.
