Gazelli Art House Baku
Gazelli Art House provides a new setting for Contemporary art whilst delivering the message of the finest international artists to a wide audience of both new and established collectors. The gallery invites individuals to engage with Contemporary art on a deeper level through bespoke events - building on dialogues and relationships between artist, writers, specialists, students, and novices through exhibitions, talks, workshops and tours. In October 2012, Gazelli Art House reopened its exhibition space in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the gallery was once active in 2003. Implementing the exhibition programme from London, the gallery focuses on bringing and showcasing only international artists in the region, engaging further with a wider audience, and providing a platform for international dialogue. The founder and Director of Gazelli Art House, Mila Askarova was born and raised in Azerbaijan before moving to Istanbul and later settling in London. Upon successful completion of her International Relations BSc degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Mila worked at Sotheby’s in the Client Development department while curating a number of exhibitions in Baku and Istanbul. She then managed the PR and Communication of a commercial art gallery in London, before focusing on curating and private art dealing. During her active years on the art market, Mila studied at Central Saint Martins and Christie’s Education, gaining a theoretical insight into Collecting Contemporary Art, Independent Curating and Art Business.

Icherisheher Centre For Traditional Arts
İçərişəhər Ənənəvi İncəsənət Mərkəzi Bakının tarixi mərkəzində yerləşir və 2012-ci ildə Heydər Əliyev Fondunun təşəbbüsü ilə təsis edilmişdir. Mərkəz İçərişəhər Dövlət Tarix-Memarlıq Qoruğu ilə Birləşmiş Krallıqda yerləşən Ənənəvi İncəsənət üzrə Şahzadə Məktəbi arasında həyata keçirilən birgə layihənin nəticəsidir. Mərkəzin məqsədi gənc istedadlı və yaradıcı rəssamlara təlim vasitəsi ilə Azərbaycanın ənənəvi incəsənət və sənətkarlıq növlərini yaşatmaq və inkişaf etdirməkdir. Bu Mərkəz həmçinin bir çox insanlar üçün tədqiqat, təlim və təhsil resursu rolunu oynayır. Digər məqsəd ictimai və akademik proqramlar vasitəsilə bütün yaş qruplarına fərdi və ya kollektiv şəklində qısa müddətli ustad dərsləri təşkil etməkdən ibarətdir. 24 dekabr 2016 –cı il tarixdə Dastan brendinin təqdimat mərasimi keçirildi. Dastan brendi olaraq məhsullarımız beş ənənəvi sənətkarlıq növlərindən ibarətdir: zərgərlik, batika, keramika və taxta işi, dekorativ boyakarlıq. The Icherisheher Centre for Traditional Arts is located in the historical place of Baku. It was founded in 2012 under the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The Centre is a joint project between the State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” and The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, located in the United Kingdom. The purpose of the Centre is to revive and develop the traditional arts and crafts of Azerbaijan through training and supporting talented and creative young artists and designers. The Centre provides research, educational resources and training opportunities for the wider community through school and undergraduate academic programmes as well as short course masterclasses for all ages, individuals and groups alike. In 24 December 2016 was presented brand Dastan. Our product range in Dastan encompasses the four traditional crafts: Silver Jewelry, Batik, Ceramics and Wood, Decorative painting.

24 dekabr 2016 –cı il tarixdə İçərişəhər Ənənəvi İncəsənət Mərkəzinin Dastan brendinin təqdimat mərasimi keçirildi. “Saqa” kimi tərcümə olunan Dastan sözünə Azərbaycan ədəbiyyatında epos da deyilir.Tarixi araşdırmalara əsasən Dastan həm nəsr, həm də nəzm hissələrdən ibarət olur.Dastan brendi olaraq məhsullarımız dörd ənənəvi sənətkarlıq növlərindən ibarətdir: zərgərlik, batika, keramika və taxta işi. Məhsullarımız ənənəvi sənət növləri üzrə texniki bacarıqlarının təkmilləşdirilməsi istiqamətində davamlı olaraq təlim keçən dizaynerlər qrupu tərəfindən əl ilə hazırlanır. Konseptual olaraq hər bir məhsulun dizaynı bir neçə ay davam edir. Məhsullarımız təbii materiallardan hazırlanır. Roughly translated as 'Saga', Dastan is a renowned type of Azerbaijani epic literature that is both legendary prose and based upon historical accounts. Our product range in Dastan encompasses the four traditional crafts: Silver Jewelry, Batik, Ceramics and Wood. All our items are handmade by a selected team of designer/ makers who are continually developing technical mastery in their traditional crafts. We use natural materials and apply principles and techniques of the past and present.
