Victoria Miro
Victoria Miro first opened her gallery in Cork Street, Mayfair in 1985. The gallery quickly earned acclaim for showing the work of established and emerging artists from the USA, Europe and Asia, and for nurturing the careers of young artists from the UK. In Victoria Miro relocated to a former furniture factory situated between Hoxton and Islington in northeast London. With exhibition spaces on two floors, the gallery is unique in London for having its own beautifully landscaped water garden, overlooking a restored stretch of the Regent's Canal at Wenlock Basin. In October 2006 the gallery expanded further by opening a second exhibition and viewing space in an adjoining building on Wharf Road. In October 2013 Victoria Miro opened a third space in the heart of London's Mayfair.

De Gournay
de Gournay, a British luxury interiors company, specialises in creating exquisite hand painted wallpaper, fabrics, porcelain and hand carved furniture. Since 1986 de Gournay has revived ancient traditions, continuing techniques that began in the 17th century by employing a team of highly skilled artists to paint traditional Chinoiserie, Japanese and Korean and 19th century French Papiers Peints Panoramiques wallpapers. To complement the wallpapers, de Gournay’s artists also hand paint silk fabrics for upholstery and soft furnishings. Founder of de Gournay, Claud Cecil Gurney, comments: “Our aim is to bring happiness into people’s lives by creating for them light, bright, vibrant and happy interiors where they can find refuge from the busy world of markets and events. Taxtiles
Taxtiles is a merge of two words: textiles and taxidermy. Created by artist Becky Dick. Founded in 2014, Taxtiles is an innovative exploration that combines traditional taxidermy techniques with textile arts, resulting in bespoke luxury items for home and office decor. Becky's work pushes the boundaries between these two disciplines, creating sculptures and artworks that incorporate elements of taxidermy with fabric, embroidery, and other textile techniques. Becky Dick, who holds a First Class Honours BA in Decorative Arts (specialising in 3D textiles and embroidery). Becky has also been practicing taxidermy since 2014. She received professional training from taxidermists such as David Keningale, Carl Church, and the late George Jamieson. She also has experience in entomology pinning, taxidermy restoration, and groundwork restoration, and serves as a museum taxidermist for The John Moore Museum in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. All specimens used in Becky's work are ethically sourced, primarily from roadkill, euthanised wildlife, or animals that were unable to be saved due to injuries or illness. Becky emphasises that no animals are killed specifically for her taxidermy pieces. She also creates "vegan/vegetarian taxidermy"(also known as fauxdermy or textile taxidermy), where traditional taxidermy techniques are translated into fabric using sustainable materials, ensuring no animal parts are involved. Becky's signature technique, called "weave-binding," allows her to create poseable sculptures, many of which can interact with each other, giving each piece its own unique personality. Additionally, she creates free-hand embroidered motifs inspired by British wildlife, which are incorporated into products like wall pieces, cushions, and more, with some items featuring real or faux fur sourced ethically. Art History Abroad (AHA) began by running six week courses in Italian culture and art history in Italy for students on a gap year. This was followed by shorter summer holiday courses. AHA also organises school trips for art history A-level students. Then, envious parents asked for tours of Italy. We now have a specialist programme and frequently take tailor-made commissions. Furthermore we have a corporate arm, organising ground arrangements and cultural programmes for conferences. We have a faculty of 25 brilliant, experienced and unstuffy tutors. Future plans include a broader marketing base in the USA, China, India, Russia and Brazil.

An International Contemporary Art Gallery With Locations In Johannesburg, Cape Town, London and New York. The gallery represents artists whose work confronts entrenched power structures and inspires social change. Goodman Gallery has held the reputation as a pre-eminent art gallery on the African continent since 1966. It has been pivotal in shaping contemporary South African art, bringing Lisa Brice, David Goldblatt, William Kentridge, David Koloane, Sam Nhlengethwa and Sue Williamson to the world’s attention for the first time during the apartheid era. Since Liza Essers became owner and director in 2008, the gallery roster has grown by more than 30 international artists, with a focus on women from the African Diaspora and beyond. Goodman Gallery has a global programme working with prominent and emerging international artists whose work engages in a dialogue with African and post-colonial contexts. Some of these artists include Ghada Amer, El Anatsui, Candice Breitz, Alfredo Jaar, Grada Kilomba, Kapwani Kiwanga, Shirin Neshat, Ernesto Neto, Tabita Rezaire, Yinka Shonibare CBE, Mikhael Subotzky and Hank Willis Thomas. Critical to this programme has been the introduction of two ongoing curatorial initiatives: “In Context”, which explores tensions of place and belonging; and “South-South”, which considers connections between artists from the “global south”. Goodman Gallery’s expansion to London furthers this mission to confront dominant historical narratives and to contribute to contemporary art discourse and social repair. Goodman Gallery has a legacy of facilitating broader social access to art, serving in an institutional capacity through its public programming, publishing, and education. We are one of only a few institutions in the world offering in-depth, quality tuition in drawing from observation. Drawing is a primary language natural to all human beings, and fundamental to all aspects of learning and thinking from childhood onwards. It is a crucial route to innovation across the creative disciplines and beyond, from fashion, fine art and animation to filmmaking, product design and engineering. For some people, drawing is the easiest way of thinking. By offering tuition and resources to art students, artists, children and the public, we aim to address the permanent need for high-quality drawing teaching in the UK, filling a gap left by the steady erosion of observational drawing from the study of art in higher education and in schools.
