Merath
merath is an independent arts and cultural organisation established in Tripoli, Libya in 2024. merath was founded to provide a platform for artists, designers, researchers and other cultural producers within Libya, its neighbours and their diasporas. Over the past years, merath, under different names, has worked on exhibitions, collective publications, research programmes and residencies spaces across Tripoli, Tunis and further afield for a variety of audiences. We will be engaging in diverse programme with a select group of participants, in which we will collectively develop a new future for merath and its operation.
