Operaen I Kristiansund
The Opera in Kristiansund is situated in the lovely coastal town of Kristiansund, in the middle of Norway. It has the oldest opera tradition in Norway, dating back to 1805. The town of Kristiansund is also well known for its ”klippfisk” and bacalao traditions, its lovely harbour and its beautiful scenery, ranging from majestic mountains to the impressive coastal line. The Opera has its own Opera Choir, Sinfonietta, Symphony Orchestra and Dance- and Ballet School. We provide our audience with operas, operettas, musicals, ballets and concerts all year long. The Opera in Kristiansund has about 30 employees, but the backbone of our organisation is the fabolous effort put down by our volunteers. Each February the Opera puts on "Operafestukene"; two weeks filled with opera music in every corner of the town. Every June we stage the outdoor youth-opera "Sundbåten Syver og leketyvene", and in August the scene is set for "Donna Bacalao"; a spicy and fresh outdoor opera played out with the North Sea as our backdrop. Qb Gallery
QB Gallery was founded in 2014 and is an Oslo-based gallery for Norwegian and Scandinavian contemporary art, representing both emerging and established artists. The gallery concentrates on a broad range of practices within contemporary art, including painting, photography, sculpture, textile art and installation, whilst following a non-hierarchical approach towards several scenes and artistic backgrounds in house and online. In 2021 the gallery introduced the exhibition room KUBEN, offering space to curatorial projects and exhibitions for artists and young creatives. In 2018, the gallery won the “Gallery of the year” award by the cultural magazine Subjekt, stating “QB Gallery clearly stands out as one of the capitals hippest and most vibrant commercial exhibition spaces. QB constantly participates in art fairs, including Enter Art Fair and Oslo Negativ.

Hvem vi er Vi er KlokkeKlovnene og har spesialisert oss på å få kontakt med mennesker med demens. Til dette kreves det mer enn bare å få på seg en rød nese. En trenger særlig evne til medmenneskelig innlevelse og evne til å skape kontakt. Den nederlandske artisten Patrick van den Boom er initiativtaker til KlokkeKlovnene. Han har i en årrekke arbeidet i Nederland med den anerkjente gruppen ”Faria–Clowns“, som han fremdeles har tilknytning til. KlokkeKlovnene er en videreføring av dette arbeidet i Norge. Vi er moderne klovner med morsomme, fargerike klær og en rød nese. KlokkeKlovnene bruker nesten ingen sminke. Vårt mål er å bringe dagens enkelhet inn i en kompleks verden, som mennesker med demens iblant er innestengt i. Med varme, humor og respekt skaper vi en ny virkelighet som setter ting i andre perspektiv, overrasker og gleder!

Street Art Oslo
Street Art Oslo curates, produces and disseminates art in public and private arenas through festivals, guided tours, workshops, site-specific commissions, exhibitions, publications and radio. We define street art broadly as consisting of works of art produced both with and without permission, from large-scale murals to small-scale interventions, stickers, stencils, paste-ups, graffiti, sculpture and more. We are dedicated to improving conditions for the production and dissemination of street art and graffiti by contextualising them within the wider fields of visual art, aesthetics, architecture, urbanism, sociology, anthropology, citizenship and education. Our mission is to provide a bridge between street art and graffiti subcultures and the wider public. In doing so we aim to highlight non-institutional approaches to kunst i mellomrom (art in in-between spaces) and to inspire a shared sense of ownership over the visual realm in public space.

The Rose Castle
High above Oslo lies the gilded Rose Castle - a large-scale outdoor art installation which tells the story of the occupation of Norway in 1940-1945. With the narrative of the five years of war as the backdrop, the Rose Castle tries to dig out the pillars of our society: the rule of law, democracy, and humanism. The entire Rose Castle as such will stand as a worthy, quiet, and clear NO; to intolerance, anti-Semitism and racism – and remind us of and "bring to life" the values we were deprived of during the occupation. The installation consists of close to 300 paintings, sculptures as well as sound- and light installations by the artists Vebjørn Sand and Eimund Sand.
