I am an Artist and a Teacher. This page focuses on my Artistic achievements only. Please visit my other LinkedIn page for teaching I created five Raw Arts Festivals between 2004 and 2008, co-organizing two with the New York Arts magazine. The 2005 festival was one of Londons largest non mainstream events with over 100 artists from 12 countries. I have exhibited my paintings extensively (NY, LA, London, Spain, Italy, China, Vietnam, Germany) and have been featured in many publications, etc. I was an artist in residence in Beijing for a month in 2008 and exhibited at the 9th Beijing International Art Biennale held in 2021. I have exhibited twice with the Lotus Gallery in Ho Chi Minh. I have combined Art and Technology my whole life to create Art Festivals, run a company, create teaching resources, and pioneer the digital collage painting technique, etc. I do all of my own tech - as seen on my website: PiersMidwinter.com I began exploring digital collage paintings in 2019. You can find my portfolio on Instagram. Whilst at Middlesex University, I won the University prize for “excellence in the local community” and at Art College, I won a travel prize. Hand Fetish Projects® (HFP) is an independent art studio founded by Gối — a former art director who left commercial design to reclaim authorship and reconnect with the labor at the heart of creative work. The name “Hand Fetish Projects” is not a marketing gimmick. It reflects an obsession with the physical act of making — the transformation of ideas into tangible forms through hands-on, intuitive processes. In a culture where aesthetics are shaped by algorithms and trend cycles, HFP chooses to move slowly, and by hand. Truly — by hand, and by instinct — HFP spans from accessibly priced pieces to collectible art objects. Don’t categorize them by material. Categorize them by transformation. These works belong to emotional niches and deeply personal needs. Each object hovers between function and ornament, between chaos and control, between sensuality and refinement — always teetering on the edge between structure and collapse.
