EOH is an Online store selling antiques, papyrus and accessories of Pharaonic era. The Story of EYE OF HORUS According to Egyptian myth, Horus lost his left eye in a struggle with Seth. The eye was magically restored by Hathor, and this restoration came to symbolize the process of making whole and healing. For this reason, the symbol was often used in amulets. In ancient Egyptian myth, Horus was a powerful sky god in the form of a falcon whose right eye was the sun and left eye was the moon. He lost his left eye in a fight with Seth, another god, who murdered Horus's father, Osiris. Horus, Egyptian Hor, Har, Her, or Heru, in ancient Egyptian religion, a god in the form of a falcon whose right eye was the sun or morning star, representing power and quintessence, and whose left eye was the moon or evening star, representing healing. Falcon cults, which were in evidence from late predynastic times, were widespread in Egypt. Horus appeared as a local god in many places and under different names and epithets—for instance, as Harmakhis (Har-em-akhet, “Horus in the Horizon”), Harpocrates (Har-pe-khrad, “Horus the Child”), Harsiesis (Har-si-Ese, “Horus, Son of Isis”), Harakhte (“Horus of the Horizon,” closely associated with the sun god Re), and, at Kawm Umbū (Kom Ombo), as Haroeris (Harwer, “Horus the Elder”). Vision: The most historic souvenirs, papyrus in everywhere. Live in the world like fantasy everyday, decorate your home with the collections of ancient Egyptians and Pharaohs, live the history as you see in your eyes everyday. Slogan: Live, Feel the extraordinary history as you see in your eyes as it’s first time for every single time.

Eyelevel Gallery
Eyelevel Gallery is a not-for-profit charitable artist-run centre dedicated to the presentation, development and promotion of contemporary art. Through a range of programming initiatives such as exhibitions, performances, and special projects, Eyelevel has established itself as a supportive environment that fosters the research and development of innovative artistic practices. We have provided a forum for the discussion and presentation of contemporary visual art in Halifax for more than 40 years. Eye Level Gallery Society evolved from Inventions Gallery, established in 1972 by a group of female artists. In 1974, Inventions changed its name to Eyelevel Gallery and opened its membership to include all genders. The gallery offered an alternative to the mandates and practices of established art institutions. In addition to its visual arts program, Eyelevel Gallery sponsored other cultural activities including music and dance performances. This support led to the development of two other artist-run organizations in Halifax—Live Art Dance and the Centre for Art Tapes. Eyelevel is a member of the Association of Artist-Run Centres from the Atlantic (AARCA). Eyelevel Gallery recently dedicated its program to projects outside of a formal gallery space. Our office space remains a hub for our membership and the public, providing access to The Eyelevel Bookstore and Members Gallery. Members opportunities as broad and wandering as our exhibition program now fall under the responsibilities of the Engagement Committee. Eyelevel programs primarily in K'jiputuk (Halifax) a city situated on unceded Mi'kmaq territory. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Canada Council, Arts Nova Scotia, Halifax, our members, donors, and volunteers.

The Art Shop
The Art Shop (TAS) is a platform for the representation of artists without pretense, an inviting space for experimentation and participation. Reinventing the traditional model of an art gallery, TAS blurs the separated genres of art and affordability. Presenting local young creatives, TAS aims to catalyze a connection between emerging artists and those who are aesthetically driven and interested in art but find art galleries too pretentious or academic, educating viewers to trust in what they respond to and helping bridge the distance between viewer and art. TAS mission is to contribute to the artistic culture of Vancouver as an identity recognized for representing artists in a novel way and for providing diverse opportunities for people to relate to art and artists. A space of experimentation and interpersonal communication, young, vibrant, and community-focused, the intention of TAS is for people to feel comfortable and welcomed, and for artists to feel represented in a positive and fair way.
