Cinae - Galician Center For Aerospace Innovation
The Centre for Innovation in Aerospace Technology (CINAE, Vigo, Spain) is a research institution for aerospace technology in northwest Spain. CINAE is highly specialized in the development and operation of nanosatellite-based space systems. CINAE has inherited all the expertise of the researchers of the University of Vigo in the 3 missions that they have already flown and operated (XaTcobeo, HumSAT-D and SERPENS) and in the 2 ongoing missions in which they are working. The main expertise areas of this R&D center encompass the development of aerospace technology and the applications of UAV-based systems for remote sensing. Within the aerospace technology field, the experience accumulated in the design of Small Space Systems through the 3 successfully executed missions, must be highlighted. This accumulated experience of this group, has created a set of professionals highly specialized on the following fields: Systems Engineering and Mission Design, Assembly Integration and Verification (AIV), Communications Subsystems development, In-Orbit Operations, Embedded Software and Ground Segment development.
