The first of its kind in the Republic of Liberia for aviation careers dreamers (students) to uncovered their potentials since the establishment of the nation. This is just an overview of the National Aviation Students Association of Liberia Inc.(NASAL). The formation of the National Aviation Students Association of Liberia Inc.(NASAL) is to engage in partnering with aviation institutions (airlines, travel agencies, your operators, NGOs & schools) for industrial training before and after graduation of students. NASAL Inc. was founded January 11, 2018 as a nonprofit organization which is geared towards the advancement of less fortunate but passionate aviation students' careers within the industry. D. Darius Smith (Founder/President), a Liberian student with the passion and desire in becoming an AIR TRANSPORT PILOT LICENSE (ATPL) holder, and hoping to bring back the nation's air carrier (Air Liberia), brought this vision out to help his fellow students in the aviation sector to enlarge their career passion through seeking scholarships, partnerships, sponsorships, recommendations from all aviation entities, concerned Liberians, donors, partners, the national government, foreign representatives in Liberia and globally.}•Organization Main Goals: 1. To become a national & international body guiding Liberian students' within the industry. Incorporate all Liberian aviation personal worldwide. Engage in partnering with aviation institutions (airlines, travel agencies & tour operators) for industrial attachment of students. Partnership with both local, national and international organizations for scholarship and training to advance our careers.}•Membership: NASAL holds a membership of gender equality and all members are equally important and of great access.}•Few careers of NASAL members: Flying (pilot) Air & Space Law ATC Aviation Medical Examiner A&P Maintenance Flight Dispatcher Flight Attendant Flight Engineer Airport Management Flight Surgeon Radar controller Customers Service Representative }•Objectives: 1. To nature the spirit of togetherness in and among aviation students in Liberia in carrying out their individual and collective functions 2. To enhance learning, especially aviation education in the city, especially aviation students }•Purpose: To bring out good, strong and energetic aviators in and out of Liberia for the betterment of our nation and region }•Vision: To establish an aviation academy (NASAL Aviation Academy) where aviation education can be achieved within the Republic of Liberia, whereas, keeping with international best practices (standards) according to ICAO/IATA regulations. To have a member in every aviation entities nationwide. To become the first aviation students organization in ECOWAS (West Africa) region }•Organization Activities: Conduct tutorial classes among ourselves. Excursion/tour. Gender equality in knowledge sharing Contributing resources for the growth of NASAL. Peer-to-peer research of aviation educational background. Capacity building Participation of all members }•Mission: 1. To become the first and only national aviation students entity in the nation after post war Liberia 2. Incorporating all Liberian aviation students, experts and professionals worldwide 3. To be recognized everywhere in Africa 4. Trainings 5. Establish office (annex) in every airline schools in Liberia and West Africa }•NASAL Board or Advisors: NASAL board is chair by a veteran Liberian FAA/ATPL Captain Raynold A.
