House of Linford (HOL), located in the economic district of Lesotho, is a micro-distillery with a vision to produce a wide portfolio of beverages of Lesotho origin. It is the first distillery to date that produces gin and vodka. House of Linford (HOL) uses ethanol as its base product to manufacture beverages. Brand proliferation of products such as beer, spirits, ready-to-drink/flavoured alcoholic beverages and wines will be an avenue that we will utilise to ensure that we cater to the vast alcoholic beverage market. We are a B2B2C business and we are fervent about delivering market based strategies to appeal to our value chain until our product is indulged by the consumer. Linford Vodka, the first product of HOL, is a local premium spirit tailored for the consumer. Being Lesotho’s first born vodka, Linford carries the pride and authenticity of the country. Senate Gin, launched in December 2020, embodies a fruity but subtle smooth taste with a luxury aroma of fresh botanicals picked in Lesotho. Water makes up 60% or more of any alcoholic beverage therefore, its quality is an essential requirement. Lesotho is known for its high altitude, pure water and rich soils thus, in the production process, only the water naturally filtered by the Maluti Mountains is used. However important the water, the quality of the rest of the ingredients (40%) is equally important in order to achieve an excellent product. As we have done with Linford Vodka and Senate Gin, our portfolio of brands will be made from crops grown on Lesotho soils by financially viable local farmers. It is the purity of these inputs, infused with the crisp mountain air, coupled with the passion and expertise of our team of distillers that allows HOL to bring premium products to the land.
