Kontapel Ukraine
The story of the Kontapel brand starts in 2018, when brothers Roman and Andriy Pelekh accidentally found a real treasure of Ukrainian national traditions in one of the Transcarpathian villages. While buying a small house in the countryside, they found a small cellar with a little more than 90 liters of kontabas bottled in 1993 alongside with a small notebook with, containing recipes for various drinks and dishes from the 18th century inside. The hut turned out to be a home of an old Ukrainian from the Zhytomyr region. Once upon a time he moved to Transcarpathia and in 2018 he died without close relatives, so the house was left without heirs. Along with kontabas there were other objects of the alcohol culture of that time, such as young grape wine or beer from the times of the Austrian Empire. But the greatest treasure is the distillate on the currant buds. After researching this drink, it was decided to revive it in modern Ukrainian culture in its original form and taste. Of course according to an old recipe. Some time later, in order to accumulate funds for the serial production of the kontabas beverage, there was a creative brand consisting of the words "kontabas" and the name "Pelekh"- Kontapel. Brothers planned to sell 400 bottles of 1993 cantabas, blended with younger kontabas, and raise funds to set up a shop, which they did. After hundreds of positive reviews about the quality, depth of taste and originality of the kontabas, after several articles in the media, guys began their work on the serial production of this drink. By adding modern fermentation methods and filtration technologies to the production of kontabas, the Pelekh brothers began to produce this unique drink, which easily competes with Scotch whiskey and French cognac.

Сьогодні в США відкрито вже більше пивоварень, більше у Британії, у всьому світі за старими рецептами відроджують сорти, що не варили вже сотні років, а паралельно з цим зростає й інтерес до традиційного європейського пива. Гірке, солодке, кисле, солоне, дике, з фруктами, витримане в дiжках, виморожене, пиво сьогодні може бути абсолютно будь-яких смаків, залишаючись при цьому цілком демократичним напоєм, який людство п'є і варить не одну тисячу років. Ми прийшли розповісти про те, що саме сьогодні пиво переживає справжній Золотий Вік і його не просто можна, а потрібно пробувати, досліджувати і відкривати для себе щось нове. Проект BeerFreak.org був заснований в 2011 році як блог просуваючий пивну культуру, але в 2019 він остаточно трансформувався в компанію з імпорту та дистрибуції крафтового і традиційного пива. На даний момент ми представляємо близько ста пивоварень Старого і Нового світу. Працюємо з абсолютно різним пивом від традиційних англійських елів і бельгійських ламбіків, до самого експериментального крафтового пива. Наша головна мета - розвиток пивної культури в Україні та залучення нових людей в захоплюючий світ сучасного пива.

Odessa Classic Winery
Odessa Classic Winery is the largest wine producer in Ukraine, located in the neighbourhood of the ancient settlement of Lebedivka, founded by the German settlers more than 200 years ago. Lebedivka’s land is a part of an eco-zone of the saltwater lagoon of Burnas – a reserved habitat of graceful swans. For many decades the presence of these birds has been the highlight of the region and, at the same time, it’s prove for the ecological cleanness. Owing to them, the area obtained it’s name “Lebedivka”, derived from “The land of the swans”. The winery has over 800 hectares in vines in its vineyards, grown on the Southern soils that are rich in humus, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic plant “Dnipro” is an enterprise with a half-century history. The first capacities of the still canning plant were built in 1962. In 2009, the plant changed the form of ownership and, as a limited liability company, became the region’s leader in the production of canned vegetables, sauces, juices and mineral waters. On October 4, 2016 a new stage in the life of the plant begins: a powerful investment flow takes place, the plant is redeveloped with concentration on the production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a technological park change, and a strengthening of the staff. The renewed production ground started in record terms; already in two months after changing of membership of founders to the user new products were presented: author’s alcoholic drink TM «Al Capone», traditional ordinary cognac TM «First Ukrainian», vodka and vodka special TM «Kolos» and leader of enterprise – vodka, vodka special, tinctures TM «Petrikovskaya». A deserving place is taken mineral natural lechebno-table waters TM «Tsarichanskaya».
