We are a team of experts in organic chemistry, molecular biology and molecular modeling. We have longstanding experience and powerful facilities in organic synthesis as well as in rational design of small molecule inhibitors of biological macromolecules using computer modeling, in vitro tests and chemical optimization. Historically, our studies are focused mainly on protein kinases and their inhibitors; however, there are also other drug targets from different protein families among our objects. Our research portfolio includes more than 100 publications, 7 patents, more than 30 successfully finished contract research projects and grant applications. Our in-house stock collection contains about small organic compounds which are represented by derivatives of various types of heterocyclic systems and their fused analogs. Among them, there are more than drug-like compounds immediately available for screening. At our disposal are fully equipped chemical laboratories for organic synthesis with routine access to NMR and LC-MS facilities; well-arranged supply of reagents and access to all necessary information databases; computer cluster for calculation of various molecular modeling tasks. Ukraine Association Of Biobank
Ukraine Association of Biobank (UAB) was established in 2017 to promote and develop an Ukraine biobank network to benefit patients, researchers, industry, and the economy. The network commenced in 2013 with two Institutes of Medical Sciences of Ukraine biobanks and currently consists of biobanks in the main Institutes of Medical Sciences in Ukraine. The Ukraine Association Biobank coordinates the network procedures, based on ESBB, ISBER and NCI guidelines, are standardized across the network. Policies and documents—Patient Consent Policy, Patient Information Sheet, Biobank Consent Form and Sample Application Form have been agreed upon (after robust discussion on Association) for use in each hospital and Medical Institutes. An optimum sequence for document preparation and submission for review is outlined. The objectives of Ukraine Association of Biobank are: 1) To develop an Ukraine hospital biobank network using international guidelines expertise for patient-focused research 2) To provide fair access to uniformly obtained, processed, and stored samples and data for academic researchers and industry to collaborate on Ukraine and international projects that are scientifically and ethically approved 3) To develop technologies that will lead to more precise diagnosis and targeted therapies, while stimulating Ukrain’s economy, through genuine collaboration among academic researchers, pathologists, and industrial Research and Development 4) To produce a biobank network template for the government and other funders to develop and sustain as part of the patient care pathway in Ukrain’s principal hospitals.
