Anacalypsis Therapeutics
Anacalypsis" is the Greek word for Discovery. Our vision is a world in which neurodegenerative diseases are controllable, treatable, and curable. In most neurodegenerative diseases, including Parkinson's Disease, there are no disease-modifying therapies that can disrupt the progression of the disease. This is compounded by the fact that by the time diagnosis is made, significant irreversible neurodegeneration has already occurred. Parkinson’s disease is the fastest growing neurological disease, currently affecting approximately 10 million people globally. Similar to our approach for Parkinson's Disease, we are working on solving the unique challenges faced by people suffering from neurodegeneration by concurrently developing gene-based therapeutics and biomarkers. Our approach to therapeutic development is the structure-based design of compounds that disrupt specific protein interactions and signaling pathways that are linked to neurodegeneration.

Η eurogenetica είναι το πρώτο κλινικό διαγνωστικό εργαστήριο Μοριακής Βιολογίας και Kυτταρογενετικής που ιδρύθηκε στη Βόρεια Ελλάδα το έτος 2006 και λειτουργεί ως πρότυπο κέντρο αναφοράς με διεθνείς προδιαγραφές παρέχοντας εξειδικευμένες κλινικές και εργαστηριακές υπηρεσίες διαγνωστικής γενετικής και ανάλυσης γενετικού υλικού. Η 15ετης εμπειρία και διαχείριση χιλιάδων περιστατικών ετησίως προσέδωσαν στην eurogenetica ηγετική θέση στο χώρο της ιατρικής γενετικής. Το άρτια καταρτισμένο επιστημονικό προσωπικό σε συνδυασμό με τον υψηλής τεχνολογίας εργαστηριακό εξοπλισμό διασφαλίζουν μέγιστη ταχύτητα και αξιοπιστία στην παροχή του συνόλου των υπηρεσιών οι οποίες διακρίνονται σε τέσσερα τμήματα: στο τμήμα Μοριακής Γενετικής και Γενωμικής Ανάλυσης, στο τμήμα Κυτταρογενετικής, στο τμήμα Βιοχημικής Γενετικής και στο τμήμα της Κλινικής Γενετικής. Στη eurogenetica πραγματοποιούνται εξετάσεις προγεννητικού και μεταγεννητικού γενετικού ελέγχου. Innovation For Health
Innovation for Health is a 3-day event held as part of the entrepreneurship week 2021 bringing together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and citizens to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond. Research and innovation will be the key to ensure that the transition to a post-corona society is sustainable, inclusive and resilient. This year's format will provide an opportunity to connect, take stock of research and innovative achievements in the global response to the pandemic and build on the EU’s response: worldwide coordination of excellent science for global health, social and economic recovery. Our event bases on biotechnology and includes speeches and presentations about latest researches in this field and innovative startups. Additionally, a competition will be organized in which students will be asked to provide different solutions to a topic related to the field. Participants will be formed into teams and assigned a clinical need, then work with faculty, advisors, and mentors to design a solution and build a business plan around their solution. Teams will receive didactic instruction, mentoring, and one-on-one advising throughout the program. To end the program, teams will pitch their solutions to a group of judges. Our Goals: 1. Collaboration and unity between the students and the young professionals. Join in multiple activities with members from all of the countries. Strengthen the networking and communication of the participants. Network Student Members and YPs. Give the opportunity to the attendees to share their ideas and vision with renowned guests and Experts. Present the Organization & Structure to the attendees, and show them how it can be an asset in Students and YPs’ career. Offer the opportunity to founders to show their startups. Give the opportunity to students to develop their skills and connect with top employers. Have a unique time.
