Libyan Cement Company Inc.(LCC), is the largest manufacturer and supplier of quality cement in East Libya. Annual production of portland cement is 2,2 million tons per year. With six production lines located in the city of Benghazi and near the city of Derna and a sales team of motivated professionals LCC is proud to serve the needs of the construction industry in the East. LCC is a proud and resilient Company providing cement for over 50 years. There have been significant interruptions to our production during the past 4 years of fighting in the Country. Also significant damages have been sustained by our Benghazi factories. Our immediate objective now is to return to production in Benghazi. Because of the scale of the needed re-construction, the General Assembly, the Boards and Management of LCC have taken the decision to both repair and upgrade all its facilities. This will increase capacity from 2 to 3 million tons of cement per annum. It is intended to help meet the huge demand for cement in Libya and is our medium term objective.
