To achieve its objectives, SDA may undertake all tasks and competencies necessary for that, and for this purpose, it has the following- Setting and developing strategic policies and plans and preparing plans and integrated studies for the development and development of cities and villages in the south, in a manner commensurate with the requirements of contemporary life- Implementation of infrastructure projects that fall within the scope of its competence- Implementation of integrated projects within the framework of approved development plans and programs- Promoting the establishment of investment projects such as buildings, hotels, etc, as well as the establishment of pioneering projects after the implementation of infrastructure works- Establishing productive and service projects that provide job opportunities for the people of the south- Establishing service, cultural and entertainment facilities-Contribute or participate in any commercial, industrial, agricultural, or other projects, and finance and manage projects in a way that contributes to achieving the objectives of the Agency- Preserving the heritage, arts, and traditional industries in the cities and villages of the south, and working to revive them in coordination with the competent authorities- Providing developmental and humanitarian services to alleviate the suffering of citizens in the southern region.
