Mkbt Make Better

MKBT initiates and facilitates local development and regeneration processes. We use a long-term, interdisciplinary approach, working at the grassroots level, through participatory action, connected to local needs, aspirations, and opportunities. Our goal is to build the best home for the residents of the cities we are active in. We always start from a deep understanding of the place and communities we work with. We act with patience and perseverance to build trust, which is essential in systemic urban regeneration processes committed to long-term goals. We love being on the ground, immersing ourselves in problems, and have the curiosity to meet people and understand distinct realities. At the same time, we explore the interdependence of local and global challenges; we pay attention to international best practices and leverage local knowledge and resources to address the multiple crises and challenges of our generation, such as demographic changes, climate change, social inequality, sustainable economic development, and access to natural resources.

Ttl Planning

With an experience of over 1 years in the urban mobility and transport planning / modelling field, Ionut Sorin Mitroi showed specialized practical and theoretical knowledge in area of planning of the public transport using modern management systems including implementation of specialized software for transport demand forecasting and traffic management. His area of knowledge and professional skills covers the area of transportation and traffic engineering, especially in the field of technical, economic and financial assessment of transport systems development projects, city logistics (integrated logistics systems), IT solutions assisting transport and traffic processes and decisions, market studies transport-oriented, transport and traffic management for goods and people and transport marketing. He graduated a master of science in Transportation Logistics and Management, his dissertation having as subject modelling the urban congestion and in 2015 he has acquired his Doctorate in Science with "Traffic Flow assignment in congested urban network" Thesis. He was involved in major projects for the elaboration of feasibility studies for new metro lines, including transport planning/modelling, option analysis, cost-benefit analysis and also, in research projects regarding road traffic safety. He was also involved in traffic studies for public transport infrastructure development projects, road and railway projects as well as in the development of urban mobility strategies and Transport Public Services Contract. Throughout his career, he worked as a transport planner / modeller, project manager, Chef of Transport planning department and since 2016 he is transport consultant and leads TTL Planning Company as Chief Executive Officer, having provided transport planning consultancy services to a range of public and private sector clients, including central government, local government, transport agencies, transport operators and developers.

We are a group of urban planners, landscape designers, and architects seeking to contribute to the way we plan and develop cities. In our projects, we employ knowledge & skill, mediation & innovation, bridges & creative solutions, as we shape instruments for resilient, liveable, dynamic, and diverse cities. Agorapolis - the name of our company encompasses our core belief: that cities should be a setup where people meet, share ideas, interact and interconnect for the benefit of all. We are inspired by the Greek Agora, the central plaza where citizens of the first democracy met, traded, discussed the public agenda, made decisions, innovated, created, and consumed culture. The Agora was the most urban spot within the urban fabric. Our name also hints toward our belief that public spaces are a city's greatest resource, intrinsically linked to its liveability, attractiveness, and success. Agorapolis is founded and managed by Mihaela Pușnava, an urban planner, specializing in competitive city management. Professional urbanist for over 10 years, she has coordinated more than 100 public and private projects and strategies, cumulating investment portfolios of over 500 million Euros in implementation. Mihaela has also worked for the Romanian Government as a client, while a consultant for the World Bank. Core belief: creating beauty in everyday city life.

Adi Zona Metropolitană Cluj

ADI Zona Metropolitană Cluj funcționează ca o interfață între Cluj-Napoca și 19 comune din apropiere, punând accentul pe dezvoltarea urbanistică sincronizată a întregii zone. Aceasta este activitatea noastră de bază. În plus, derulăm proiecte proprii, din finanțări naționale și internaționale pe care le câștigăm. Aria noastră de interes este largă, mergând de la locuirea decentă până la cercetarea în domeniul dezvoltării urbanistice sau îmbunătățirea serviciilor ecosistemice.

Beta - Timișoara Architecture Biennial

Beta (Timișoara Architecture Biennial) is a cultural project of the Romanian Order of Architects – Timiș Territorial Branch, organized by a dedicated team. Beta is currently on its 6th edition. Beta is the main architecture event in Western Romania, with an international influence, being in collaboration with neighbouring countries Serbia and Hungary, and a part of the European architecture platform LINA. Beta reflects our determination, as a team and as a professional organization, to change the way people understand and appreciate the built environment. In general terms, Beta consists of two structuring levels: an identity level – linked with the general theme of each edition of the biennial, and a second one – in relation to the biennial main objectives, grouped by the categories Education, Profession, City.

Asociația Kogayon

Asociația Kogayon este organizație non-guvernamentală fondată în 2003 având ca obiectiv conservarea patrimoniului natural și dezvoltarea durabilă a regiunii Oltenia de sub Munte. Am inițiat procesul de declarare ca arie naturală protejată a actualului Parc Național Buila-Vânturarița, ce și-a obținut acest statut în 2004. Între 2006 și 2016 am fost parteneri ROMSILVA în structura de administrare a parcului național, cu rol în procesul de conservare a biodiversității, dezvoltare și implementare a programelor de educație de mediu și amenajarea și mentenanța infrastructurii turistice. În prezent, obiectul activității noastre include și conservarea patrimoniului cultural și procesul de dezvoltare regională, proiectul principal al organizației fiind Oltenia de sub Munte - geoparc aspirant UNESCO. Obiectivul nostru este acela de a accelera dezvoltarea durabilă a regiunii. Pentru a reuși acest lucru, ne concentrăm eforturile pentru obținerea statusului de geoparc UNESCO pentru regiune, într-o strânsă colaborare cu comunitățile locale și cu actorii de la nivel local, regional, național și chiar internațional.
