Amar Health
Healthcare is a Right, Not a Privilege.” This belief inspired the creation of Project Amar Health, an initiative committed to delivering accessible, quality healthcare to every individual—right at their doorstep. Through technology, mobile health units, and community health workers, we aim to bridge the healthcare gap across Bangladesh, especially in rural and underserved areas. Despite being a developing nation, millions in Bangladesh still lack access to proper treatment. Mothers and children die due to the absence of timely care. Cancer patients remain untreated because life-saving therapies are unaffordable. For many, seeing a doctor is a luxury rather than a fundamental right. Rural communities suffer the most—health centers are distant, hospitals overcrowded, and access to medicines and skilled professionals limited. Corruption, weak governance, and shortages of doctors and pharmacists only worsen the crisis. Project Amar Health strives to transform this reality. Our mission is to: Deliver healthcare directly to underserved communities Raise awareness about preventive care and early treatment Address systemic inefficiencies in the healthcare system Empower citizens to demand and exercise their right to health We envision a Bangladesh where no life is lost due to lack of treatment, where every citizen has access to essential healthcare, and where health becomes the foundation of a stronger, more equitable nation. As a research-driven initiative, we systematically visit every district, upazila, and union to document real healthcare conditions, identify service gaps, and develop evidence-based solutions—ensuring that every action we take is grounded in reality and designed for lasting impact.
