European Center For Certification And Privacy
The European Centre for Certification and Privacy (ECCP) aims at bringing research and innovation to the service of data protection and compliance. It is leading the development of certification schemes and standards with a focus on regulatory compliance assessment. It is actively engaged in research and innovation at international level and is a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF). The ECCP is in charge of maintaining Europrivacy, the European Data Protection Seal approved by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and European Accreditation (EA) to deliver official GDPR certifications under Art. 42 GDPR. Delivered certificates are legally and formally recognized by the data protection authorities of 30 countries: all EU and EEA members States. The ECCP is particularly active in the following areas: Privacy and Personal Data protection The European Centre for Certification and Privacy is on the front line of certification of privacy, data protection, and data regulations compliance. It maintains Europrivacy, the European Data Protection Seal, whose criteria address the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Certification and labelling processes The European Centre for Certification and Privacy is researching and developing innovative certification schemes combining ISO models and standards with emerging technologies and testing tools. National Cybersecurity Competence Center - Luxembourg Nc3
The Luxembourg National Cybersecurity Competence Centre (NC3), hosted by the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity (LHC), aims at supporting the Luxembourg ecosystem in building cybersecurity competence and capacity, in a way that contributes to developing the cybersecurity industrial base in Luxembourg, and strengthens the strategic autonomy of the European Union. At national level, the NC3 aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of companies, institutions, and stakeholders across Luxembourg. The NC3 supports the national ecosystem in developing cybersecurity skills and capabilities, helps organisations identify and address competence gaps, and assists in assessing and prioritising their cybersecurity needs. At European level, the NC3 has been designated to act as the National Coordination Centre in Luxembourg (NCC-LU) within the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCC Network), established by EU Regulation 2021/887, establishing the European Cybersecurity Competence Center located in Bucharest. Acting as the main contact point for the the NCC Network, and national stakeholders, the NCC-LU aims at fostering both Luxembourgish and European cybersecurity ecosystems. Its key missions include coordinating European funding (e.g, from Digital Europe and Horizon Europe), promoting research and innovation dialogue, and leading education and awareness initiatives.

Entrust Project
ENTRUST project is a Research and Innovation Action on securing connected medical devices against cyber threats, funded by European Commission under Horizon Europe Programme (GA No. ENTRUST brings together 20 academic and industrial partners from 13 countries, spanning the period from January 2023 to December 2025. The project envisions to holistically manage the lifecycle of connected medical devices, strengthening trust in the entire medical ecosystem. It leverages a series of breakthrough solutions to enhance assurance without limiting the applicability of connected medical devices. This includes formally verified trust models, remote attestation mechanisms, risk assessment processes, secure lifecycle procedures, security policies, technical recommendations, and real-time conformity certificates based on distributed ledgers. The added value and effectiveness of ENTRUST will be validated and evaluated in four real-world use cases ranging from wearable and medical devices used for remote patient monitoring to high-end stationary equipment used in hospitals and clinics.
