Improved Security is gespecialiseerd is in het ontdekken van kwetsbaarheden. Dagelijks worden er nieuwe kwetsbaarheden ontdekt, wat vandaag nog veilig is kan morgen onveilig zijn. Een zwakke schakel in de ICT infrastructuur kan leiden tot zeer ernstige gevolgen zoals bijvoorbeeld: het onbereikbaar maken van delen van de infrastructuur, defacement van een website of het stelen van gevoelige informatie zoals klant gegevens.
