Studio Fizbin

Studio Fizbin is an Independent Games Studio located in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Sebastian Mittag, Alexander Pieper and Mareike Ottrand founded Studio Fizbin in spring 2011. They strongly focus on story-based games & apps with exciting, original and unique characters, worlds and tales. Additionally to their own game projects like the award-winning adventure "The Inner World" Studio Fizbin works for hire on interactive projects. For example they made all the apps for the famous cartoon "Tom & the slice of bread with strawberry jam and honey". In other projects Fizbin allows children to stage their own opera, or they even build a digital game table for a museum. In August 2014 Studio Fizbin became a member of the G.A.M.E-federation.

Der Verein fungiert dabei maßgeblich als Sprachrohr der Entwickler gegenüber Politik, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft. Er bietet gleichzeitig ein Forum für den gemeinsamen Austausch und Zusammenarbeit. GBM verbessert grundlegend die Bedingungen für Entwickler am Standort, fördert die regionalen Ausbildungsmöglichkeiten und unterstützt den kulturellen Aspekt von Games. Kurz- und mittelfristig fokussieren wir uns auf eine stärkere Vernetzung und Zusammenarbeit mit Politik und Wirtschaft, aber auch untereinander. Es ist unser erklärtes Ziel, regionale, nationale und internationale Förderungen für die Games-Entwicklung verfügbarer und zugänglicher zu machen. Wir schaffen außerdem Zugang zu weiteren staatlichen Unterstützungen, wie zum Beispiel Zuschüsse zur Ausrichtung von Branchenevents oder die Subventionierung von Fachmessebesuchen. GBM arbeitet mit anderen Organisationen zusammen und ist bereits Mitglied bei der „vbw – Vereinigung der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V.“ und dem „MedienCampus Bayern e. V.“.
