We are a Helsinki-based talent attraction agency dedicated to the games & creative industry. We nurture resourceful methods in sourcing, enabling the recruitment of talents from across the globe for our clients. One of our other services includes organizing virtual job fairs where we overcome the barrier of distance and connect European Studios with global talent. Although the main objective of the Games job fairs is recruitment, participating studios find great value in building their network of potential team members and gaining visibility through employer branding. However, realizing that the job fairs was only one way for talents to showcase their skills, we decided to build a community of games industry professionals by creating the GameDev Talent Board. Profiles of only pre-vetted talents are published on the talent board. We believe in serving as advocates for these talents by being committed to their career development. Studios in search of skilled talent in this niche industry also find it extremely convenient as it saves them hours of sourcing and weeding out candidates.

Starting with a small team, we focused on the mass transit simulator, Cities in Motion, taking what we learned with us into its sequel, Cities in Motion 2. Clever Simulation Entertainment
Clever Simulation Entertainment is a game development team operating in the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. We concentrate on serious game development and our focus areas are virtual and augmented reality development and other new technologies. Clever Team has experience in combining physiological data with game environments. The Team has a strong background on physiological measurements, including heart rate, eye tracking and other measurements which have been used either for research purposes or integration with games. Since most of the games are designed for educational or rehabilitation purpose, they often include mechanisms that provide analysis on the actions of the players during or after the game session. Clever Team uses Unreal Engine for the game development projects. Team mainly focuses on games using realistic 3D environments, but also develops games for other platforms. We can use photogrammetry, laser data and automatic in-house tools for realistic 3D modeling. When modelling larger outdoor areas or buildings aerial photogrammetry can also be used. We are focusing on serious and educational games with a strong social impact, including compelling gameplay experience with detailed storylines and fun game mechanics. We are always interested in new ideas and challenges in related areas.

As part of the three year project (09/2023 - 08/2026), the Game Hub for SMEs in the Capital Region, a new type of game lab was created in Otaniemi, Espoo. The goal of Espoo Game LAB is simple: equip participants with the essential skills to either land a job in the game industry or establish their game companies. The programme covers key areas like game design, programming, content production, game production and business know-how. The Espoo Game LAB participants get to develop their games as well as themselves in a professional environment. The first Espoo Game LAB round began in March 2024. The next round of application will be in the end of 2024. Stay tuned for more info!
