Microfuse computer technologies started as a research firm in embedded systems i.e. hardware and software and eventually evolved into a consumer electronics and general products design and manufacturing firm. The main reason we decided to venture into electronics design and manufacture was ensure that we avail people in East and Central Africa with consumer electronics that are affordable, reliable and can improve the livelihood of the region as a whole. At Microfuse computer technologies we do end-user needs analysis, industrial design, mechanical design, electronics and Printed Circuit Board design and product market surveys. This ensures we design products that will be generally acceptable by the people by involving the end user in the design process. Since inception, we have trained over 100 engineers in the field of consumer electronics design and have been carrying out one training every year from 2017.
