Ducks Unlimited Canada Campus Club - University Of Guelph
The Ducks Unlimited Canada Campus Club aims to engage and empower students to take meaningful action for conservation. Our purpose is to build awareness and inspire conservation efforts that enhance and protect wetlands, ecosystems, and biodiversity, while fostering leadership and collaboration on campus and beyond. The Club will offer opportunities in three key areas: Conservation – Members will participate in hands-on activities such as habitat restoration, citizen science, and local conservation projects, gaining real-world experience in environmental stewardship. Career Development – Students will build professional skills by leading initiatives, organizing events, and connecting with conservation experts through workshops and networking opportunities. These experiences will enhance resumes and prepare members for careers in environmental fields. Community – We will create an inclusive space for students from all disciplines to connect with nature and each other. Outreach events, guided nature walks, and partnerships with local organizations will strengthen ties between campus and the wider community. By combining education, action, and collaboration, this Club will give students the skills and confidence to become agents of change. It will not only benefit the environment but also foster leadership, professional growth, and a stronger sense of community among students.
