Forest Bridges The O&c Forest Habitat Project, Inc
Founded on the basis of trust in 2015, FOREST BRIDGES: THE O&C FOREST HABITAT PROJECT, INC. is a charitable non-profit collaborative that brings together people of different perspectives on forest management to foster sustainable forests and habitats through active conservation management and restoration solutions exclusively on the 2.9 million acres of O&C Lands in western Oregon. The organization, which became a 501(c)(3) in 2019, sees itself as ‘attempting to fill a void’ as the only all-inclusive, consensus-based grassroots collaborative working to shift the management paradigm on the whole of the western Oregon O&C Lands and move beyond decades of polarization, an entrenched culture of litigation, and land allocations that have impinged the scale of active management and restoration efforts needed to address more than 100 years of fire suppression. These and other issues have contributed to exacerbating detrimental conditions on the O&C Lands, especially on overstocked dry forests, which face increasing high-severity wildfire; increased climate change-driven drought and invasive species; protracted seasonal wildfire smoke impacting public health; declining rural economies; and reduced public access for recreation. Over the years, the Forest Bridges collaborative has risen to the challenge of developing management principles and approaches that are constructive and viewed as reasonable from the perspective of all our partners and interest areas: Tribal Nations, ecological and climate resilience, legacy forests, plant, wildlife and other biological habitats, timber and wood products production, county revenue expectations, recreation and other material and non-material values important to the community at large. We have prepared several "living" policy papers based on our principles and strategies and submitted proposed management alternatives to Bureau of Land Management & USDA Forest Service planning processes in the last year, which have been well-received.

Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation
The Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation was established in 2016 to formalize what had been a decade or more of community efforts to improve Four Mile Run Park. Our mission is to promote nature, culture, and community at lower Four Mile Run through restoration, advocacy, recreation, and education. We serve a diverse community of residents who live, work, study, or play within two miles of the tidal portion of Four Mile Run and its associated parklands in Arlington and Alexandria, Virginia. We are working to ensure the natural amenities of this urban ecosystem are protected and nurtured, and to amplify the mutually-reinforcing cycle of community stewardship of natural resources and human health, well-being, and enjoyment in the city. Ogallala Land & Water Conservancy
The Ogallala Land & Water Conservancy (OLWC) was created specifically as a nonprofit organization in the State of New Mexico for the primary purpose of conserving the groundwater resources of the Ogallala Aquifer, which experiences only limited recharge, through the use of Water Right Lease Agreements and groundwater conservation easements, while transitioning irrigated farmland and ranchland to dryland cropping or grazing land. This is a looming issue for every farmer, rancher, and community dependent on the Ogallala Aquifer from Texas to North Dakota. The Ogallala Land & Water Conservancy’s primary goal is to ensure the long-term installation resiliency of Cannon Air Force Base (CAFB). Groundwater from the Ogallala Aquifer is essential to Cannon’s continual operation. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined that the Cannon AFB REPI project is a priority. The preservation of the Ogallala Aquifer for City and County residents is also a priority of the Central Curry Soil & Water Conservation District (CCSWCD), the Clovis City Commission, and the Curry County Board of County Commissioners. The OLWC functions as the Eligible Entity (EE) for implementation of the DOD's Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) Program project at Cannon Air Force Base, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) award, and the New Mexico Office of the State Engineer grant award. The combined REPI ($7,545,200), RCPP ($6,911,311), and OSE funding awards provide $16,856,511 to pay landowners, in a contiguous wellfield residing in a paleochannel that runs northwest and west of Cannon AFB, to discontinue irrigation and develop sustainable land and water management practices in Curry County, thereby preserving vital agricultural land and groundwater resources. Federal, state, and local funding make it possible to execute the Cannon AFB REPI Project.

Wildcare Oklahoma
WildCare Oklahoma is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that provides wildlife and conservation education, technical assistance in resolving human/animal conflicts, medical and rehabilitative care to ill, injured, and orphaned wildlife, and members of the public a place to bring native wildlife struggling to survive with the goal of releasing healthy individuals back to nature. WildCare admits and treats over 7,500 wild animals of over 240 different species annually. Most of our wild patients have been injured or orphaned as a result of human activity as they try to cope with increasing urbanization of their natural habitats. Common reasons for admission include being hit by cars, attacked by cats and dogs, shot, window collisions, poisoning, yard work accidents, and unnecessary trapping. WildCare has 250-850 patients in care at any given time and is open to admit new patients 365 days a year. WildCare is supported entirely by donations from caring individuals like you. Making a contribution will help ensure that there will always be a safe place for Oklahomans to bring wildlife in need.
