Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority Zimparks
The Parks & Wildlife Management Authority (also known as Zimparks) is tasked with the protection, management and administration of wildlife in Zimbabwe. Given the large and expansive resource under our stewardship, this responsibility cannot be achieved in isolation. Our network of protected areas, conservancies and trans-frontier conservation areas parks ensure that we share the load to curb wildlife crime, promote tourism and preserve our shared heritage. We are driven by the belief that each generation’s obligation is not only to preserve the natural treasures inherited, but to protect them for the benefit and enjoyment of those that follow.

Conservation And Wildlife Fund Cwf
Established in 2017, our mission at Conservation and Wildlife Fund (CWF) is to foster the harmonious coexistence of humans, wildlife and surrounding habitats through the implementation of holistic conservation strategies. CWF operates on the eastern boundary of Hwange National Park (HNP) in Zimbabwe. This area encompasses national forests, communal lands, and private ranches - all rich in biodiversity. Hwange National Park (HNP) is Zimbabwe’s largest natural reserve, spanning approximately 14,650 square kilometres in the western part of the country, just an hour’s drive south of Victoria Falls. Renowned for its remarkable biodiversity, HNP is home to more than 100 species of mammals and nearly 400 species of birds. It also plays a vital role in the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA)—one of the world’s largest conservation landscapes—covering nearly square kilometres across five countries: Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
