IZVOD IZ STATUTA INŽENJERSKE KOMORE CRNE GORE („Sl. list CG“, br. 22/18 od 11.04.2018. godine) Član 4 Komora ima svojstvo pravnog lica sa pravima, obavezama i odgovornostima utvrđenim Zakonom i Statutom Komore. Komora je samostalna i nezavisna strukovna organizacija koja čuva ugled, čast i prava ovlašćenih inženjerskih struka u Crnoj Gori, koje obavljaju poslove u skladu s posebnim propisima koji uređuju obavljanje djelatnosti u području izgradnje objekata. Član 5 Komora obavlja djelatnost, iz oblasti izgradnje objekata, pod nazivom: »lnženjerska komora Crne Gore«. Skraćen naziv Komore glasi: »IKCG«. Sjedište Komore je u Podgorici, Bulevar Džordža Vašingtona 31. Pri poslovanju sa inostranstvom, kao ime Komore upotrebljava se »Engineers Chamber of Montenegro«. Kao skraćeni naziv pri poslovanju sa inostranstvom upotrebljava se »ECM«. Član 146 - NADLEŽNOSTI Komora obavlja sljedeće poslove: 1) unapređuje i obezbjeđuje stručno usavršavanje članova; 2) vodi registar članova Komore; 3) vodi registar članova kojima miruje članstvo u Komori; 4) predlaže tehničke osnove za izradu propisa iz člana 72 ovog zakona; 5) određuje visinu članarine svojih članova; 6) štiti, usklađuje i zastupa interese svojih članova; 7) donosi etički kodeks i stara se o njegovom sprovođenju; i 8) uređuje disciplinsku odgovornost, vodi disciplinske postupke protiv svojih članova i izriče disciplinske mjere. Poslove iz stava 1 tač. 1 i 4 ovog člana Komora vrši kao javno ovlašćenje. Nadzor nad obavljanjem poslova iz stava 2 ovog člana vrši Ministarstvo.
