The studio utilizes the tools and thinking of architecture to create fully digital designs for the nape of your neck, that place on your desk, your little finger and everywhere else in your life that could be a bit more Sheyn. Each piece is created using state-of-the-art modeling and fabrication techniques. The word Sheyn, itself, means beautiful in Yiddish. It was created through cultural exchange and a longing for beauty – like all of our products.

As a production group for experimental design, MVD combines various forms of media to create a communication network with interdisciplinary accents. MVD was established in Graz in 1997 and currently comprises Eugen Danzinger, Martin Helgi, Michael Rieper, Christiine Schmauszer and Georg Skerbisch.

Using ist special core expanding system, honeycomb cores made of polycarbonate are made with a special cell geomtery which is worldwide unique. TRANSLUCENT ARCHITECTURAL PANELS Extremely flexible and versatile translucent honeycomb panels like architecture itself. Panels with TRI-core or AIR-board honeycomb cores and polycarbonate or acrylic coatings are primarly decorative elements for internal or exterior use. Translucency and light scattering effects enhance the unique properties such as fire resistance, light weight, excellent rigidity making the panels very attractive for various fields of application. TRANSLUCENCY & ACOUSTIC It is no longer enough to place only acoustically effective products in a modern office design. What is needed are customized solutions that can be integrated efficiently and give a noticeably improved quality to the room. AIR-board acoustic panels combine innovative decorative interior planning with acoustic and lighting design. The translucnt sandwich elements consists of a transparent or coloured honeycomb core with microperforated facing sheets giving a high degree sound absorbance RIGID LIGHTWEIGHT PANELS The highly durable and rigid elements with foam or honeycomb cores and glass fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) or aluminium facings are mainly used for lightweight construction. The sandwich panels are particularaly valued in the vehicle as well as special applilcations for various industrial segments: truck, caravan or event vehicle bodies, containers, machine covers, balconies and many many more.
