WINNER - World's Best Spiced Cane Spirit 2024 (World Rum Awards) WINNER - World's Best Navy Strength Gin 2021 (World Gin Awards) Created by two Sydney dedicated hospo veterans, husband and wife team, Corinna and Felix, full-blown flavour fanatics who reckon life’s too short for anything less than ‘fuck off deliciousness’ Inspired by an obsessive quest for the perfect Negroni, we began our distilling journey over 10 years ago with a tiny still in the backyard of our Newtown digs. After many iterations and non stop tinkering, Ester Spirits officially launched in 2020. The penny finally dropped when Ester Strong Gin won ‘Best in Show’ at the Australian Gin Awards in its first month of launching and shortly after that took out the title of ‘World's Best Navy Gin’ at the World Gin Awards in 2021. We've most recently been awarded World's Best Spiced Cane Spirit at the World Rum Awards 2024, joining a select few distilleries globally who've taken out the top spot across categories.

A brand built not only on booze, but on the spirit of the journey. We're not just “the gin guys” or “those whiskey people.” Instead, we're creating a house of brands—each one with its own voice, its own scars, its own story to tell. All connected by a common thread: the journey. Over time, our renegade spirits company will grow into something more than just bottles. But for now our story begins in an abandoned train shed in Ballarat—a waypoint for the wild, the working, and the ones chasing something just out of reach. We didn’t renovate it. Six-Tricks Distilling Co
There can be no trickery without mastery. You have to know your craft to bend the rules and we love to bend the rules. The art and science of distilling are ancient, we respect and salute the reprobates that pioneered a rich history of spirit making and law-breaking. But like any decent scientist, magician, writer or artist knows, your best comes after you’ve mastered the trade. Our tricks aren’t foolish, they are eccentric, experimental and thoroughgoing. We love tradition in all its glory, but frankly, it had it coming. Six-Tricks is conveniently located a brief 10-minute walk from the Broadbeach dining precinct, Pacific Fair, and The Star Casino. Our tasting room can accommodate 100 guests inside the bar, outside on our Sunset Deck, in the Beer Garden or private Founders Lounge. Six-Tricks’ versatile venue of indoor and outdoor spaces makes for unforgettable events. Our functions and private events are suitable for groups of all sizes, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Opening the very first craft distillery on the Gold Coast in August 2018, we have quickly become one of Australia’s most awarded and recommended artisan producers and have been recently nominated for the prestigious IWSC International Gin Producer of the Year Award 2022. Now with two established distilleries located in Queensland and international expansion into New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and North America, our Australian handcrafted spirits are being enjoyed around the world. Founded by the father and son team, David & Luke Ridden, the distillery came about from a trip to the USA, where the pair discovered and enjoyed community-centric bars that cultivated a sense of community, uniqueness and belonging. With a passion for craft spirits, the trip cemented an idea we had long had of launching a neighbourhood-based distillery in honour of our Granddad Jack, a man known for his resilience, loyal friendship, integrity, and hard work. Granddad Jack's Craft Distillery is inspired by his story and driven by the same old-fashioned values and ethos he went through life with. Our well-versed product range consists of three award-winning gins, a vodka and a coffee liqueur, with a variety of single-barrel whiskey. Our patented process rejuvenates existing oak inventory for extended barrel life which produces better quality product.
