Dunedin Craft Distillers
Dunedin Craft Distillers is the first distillery in Aotearoa and one of only a handful worldwide, to produce botanical spirits from surplus bread and bakery products that would otherwise go to landfill. Brewed and distilled in small batches, all our products are made from our London Spirits Competition (2023) medal winning base alcohol, Naked Spirit. Roughly 4 loaves of bread goes into every litre of alcohol we produce.

Herrick Creek Distillery
Herrick Creek is a craft distillery based in Christchurch, New Zealand, dedicated to creating high-quality, handcrafted spirits that showcase the unique flavours of New Zealand. Our spirits are made using locally sourced ingredients, such as malted grains from Gladfield Malt and unmalted corn from the North Island. We use traditional techniques and our custom-made copper pot still, Eddie, to produce small batches of moonshine, gin, and whiskey, with a focus on transparency and quality. We are proud to have won awards at the New Zealand Spirits Awards for our Nine Fathoms Gin, Maple Moonshine, and Smokin' Right Rear Cinnamon, and we are excited to continue expanding our lineup with new flavours and products. Follow us for updates on our latest releases, events, and news from the world of craft spirits.

The Bluff Distillery
In 1824 the spirit of the Bluffys and the town of Bluff was born. A trading post. The engine room. The crashing tail that would drive New Zealand’s maritime economy forward. As the world got wind of this power port, they travelled and settled in alongside local Iwi and their cultural meeting of minds would change things forever. None of them came here for an easy ride, you’re exposed in Bluff, and there’s nowhere to hide. But there’s a certain type of person who craves that kind of life. Bluffys are different. You might meet one at a port in Nelson, Timaru or Auckland but they’ll still call themselves a Bluffy. They’re humble, real – made of tough stuff. Razors don’t exist here. They like their oysters fresh, and their gin clean. When at sea, they like a rum that prepares them for what’s coming with the next swell. The Bluff Distillery Company was built for Bluffys. And those who want a taste of life on the edge, made on the edge of the world. 200 years on, it’s time to share this story with the world.

Dancing Sands Distillery
Our journey begins with a love story that takes us from the UK and the United States and ends with one of New Zealand’s most creative and established distilleries – Dancing Sands. Our founders Sarah and Ben first hit it off when they met through their corporate jobs. After managing a long distance relationship between New York and London they decided to start a new chapter together in New Zealand. Eventually, Sarah and Ben Bonoma both left their corporate careers and took a leap into the unknown to establish Dancing Sands Distillery in 2016. Trading the corporate for the creative, and spreadsheets for stills, the Bonomas risked it all to follow their dream: producing world-class spirits in what is the most beautiful place on the planet. Like all great partnerships, Sarah and Ben are more than the sum of their parts. Sarah’s cutting scientific mind (she has a MSc in Genetics) is matched by Ben’s flavour-driven creativity. The result? A dynamic distilling duo on a mission to bring a part of Golden Bay to the rest of New Zealand, and the world.
