Wonderschool Early Learning Centres
Our story begins in 2019. A small team of dedicated educators met to redefine the landscape of early education for the Canberra region and beyond. Bringing a wealth of experience from many different settings, they set out to create learning spaces for young children that were a point of difference. They knew the critical role that professional educators would play in achieving goals and ensuring that educators’ well-being is supported was deemed a priority. From these early stages emerged Wonderschool’s WIRE values: WONDER, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, EMPOWERMENT. These values have formed the foundation of all things Wonderschool, and still, resound deeply through all critical organisational decision-making. We value each child and nurture them as individuals and our vision is to create connected communities that empower our children so that they can change the world. This is a community where interests and creativity can be shared without judgment. A community that encourages diversity, respect, and discovery. A community where we can each play a small role in creating a big impact during this important stage of children’s lives. Our focus is to ensure that our services meet these diverse needs and provide families with a standard of education that exceeds their expectations. At Wonderschool, we have a commitment to social justice. We respect the uniqueness of all members of our community, their values, and their diverse abilities. We always act with integrity to empower everyone to reach their full potential, so that they can experience fully the wonder of being. We know your child is the most important child in the world, so we put the focus on them. We help shape wonderfully independent children who are capable and resilient. Wonderschool promotes moments of learning, connection and most importantly, relationships – the relationships your child has with their family, our Educators, their peers and their environment.

Young Logix
Our first goal is to start our programs across the country throughout the schools and spread the STEAM education. Run ROBOTIC camps and competitions as they are a great way to spark student interest in the STEAM fields. Students have fun learning about robotics, computer programming, and don’t realize they are applying their science, technology, arts and math's knowledge to engineer solutions to a variety of robotic challenges. Introduce agile robotics to classes at the middle school and high school level may be in middle of 2017 school year. Our second goal and a very important part of STEAM education, is to motivate and show the students the importance of higher education and how beneficial it is to pursue their academic career in the College's/University's. Our third goal is to begin to establish internship and mentor ship opportunities for students. We will be looking at high school programs around the area to gain information to implement our programs. A committee of secondary guidance counselors and school administrators should/will be working on the development of a 12th grade internship class that pairs our students with local businesses to provide them authentic job experiences and mentor ships.
