Chittagong College
Chittagong College (Bengali: চট্টগ্রাম কলেজ ) is a government college in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is the second college established in Bangladesh after Dhaka College. Having begun as Chittagong District school in 1836, it became an intermediate college in 1869. The first principal was J C Bose. It started providing science education in intermediate section from the 1909. The institute became a graduation college in 1910 after University of Calcutta had recognized it as a first class degree college. From then it started providing honours degrees on Arabic, Bengali, Pali, Sanskrit, History, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. From 1919 it started courses on English, Economics, and Philosophy. In 1926, A. K. Fazlul Huq established Muslim Chattrabash which is now known as Sher-e-Bangla Chattrabas. The students of this institution participated in Bengali Education movement in 1962 and Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Scholars who have taught here include Surendranath Dasgupta, Beni Madhab Das, Janardan Chakravarti, Bhabatosh Dutta, Subodh Sengupta, Jogeshchandra Singha, Mansur Uddin, Motahar Hossain Chowdhury, Dr. Muhammad Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, Momotazuddin Ahmed and Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

Govt. Azizul Haque College, Bogura
Government Azizul Haque College in Bogra is a public college under the National University of Bangladesh. It is one of the largest educational institutions in Bangladesh's northern region. The college was established in July 1939.[2] It was named after Sir Azizul Haque, who was vice chancellor of Calcutta University at the time. M. M. Mukherjee was the first principal. The college organised its first classes at Subil Free Primary School in the north side of Bogra town. Later it was transferred to Fulbari Bottola. It was initially only one small straw-shaded room. Marhum Moyen Uddin Pramanik and Marhum Rasidullah Sardar of Fulbari donated land to build the college. With a view to setting up the college, Marhum Rajib Uddin Tarafdar, Marhum Mr. Mohammad Ali, Moulovi Osman Gani, Marhum Nawab Uddin Talukdar, Babu Naresh Chandra Tarafdar, Babu Nalin Chandra Chatterzy, and Babu Profullo Chandra Sen donated seven thousand Taka. One-third of the profits of the White-Way Circus Company Charity Show was donated to the college. Members of the first governing bodies of the college were Mohammad Ali (previous Prime Minister of Pakistan) as the chairman, Moulovi Osman Gani (editor), Habibur Rahaman (member), Doctor Mofiz Uddin (member), and Mahbubur Rahaman Chowdhury (cashier). In 1941 the college was sanctioned by Calcutta University with the efforts of Sir Azizul Haque, who was Education Minister of Non-Separated Bangal, Speaker of the Bengali Parliament, and Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University. In 1968 the college was recognized as a government college. The college has two residences. The original 4 acres (0.016 km2) of land is now known as the Old Residence of Azizul Haque College. Only higher secondary classes are administered there. In 1962, through the efforts of Habibur Rahaman (previous Education Minister of the Pakistani government) a new building was established on 55 acres (0.22 km2) of land.

Dhaka Residential Model College (also referred to as DRMC), formerly known as Residential Model School, is a public school in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The school offers education for students ranging from third grade to twelfth grade (approximately ages 7 to 18). With over 4,200 students, of which reside in its six dormitories, DRMC is the largest public and one of the largest residential schools in the country. Dhaka Residential Model College is noted for its academic performance and extracurricular activities, having produced many notable alumni including leaders in business, the military and state and national politics as well as senior government officers, scientists and engineers. The government of Bangladesh recognized the school for its strong performance in the Higher Secondary Certificate examination in 2008. The institution was awarded 'Best College' in the 5th National Debate Festival 2010, the largest debate contest in the country by the National Debate Federation Bangladesh. The school quiz team won the championship at the Inter School Quiz Contest 2006, the nationwide school level quiz bowl hosted by Shishu Academy, the national academy for children in Bangladesh.
