The purpose of the project is to provide scholarship to underprivileged but meritorious Muslim Youths to undergo extensive training for development of employable skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). These unemployed graduates possess enormous potential which could not yet be properly exploited due to lack of finance. Each year around 1,200 young graduates from widely varying academic backgrounds are awarded scholarship by IDB-BISEW in Bangladesh. A joint initiative of the Govt. of Bangladesh and IDB, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the scholarship programme enables the participants to undergo a year-long training leading to a professional level diploma in an IT discipline. These diploma holders then go on to secure excellent jobs and rewarding careers in organizations both within and outside Bangladesh. The IDB-BISEW IT scholarship Project is an educational and training network composed of approximately twenty-five IT training institutions, a full scale R&D cell dedicated for developing training-resources and curriculum and an administrative body headed by the management office of IDB-BISEW. Full-time and intensive training programmes training from 10 to 14 months in duration equip the trainees with cutting edge IT skills, which in the vast majority of cases lead to rewarding careers in various organizations at home and abroad.

Jagannath University, Dhaka
Jagannath University as a govt. financed full pledged public university of Bangladesh is situated in the southern part of the city of Dhaka near the Buriganga. This prestigious educational establishment has a history of about 156 years which started in 1858 when Dhaka Brahma School was founded in 1858 by Dinanath Sen, Prabhaticharan Roy, Anathbandhu Mallik and Brajasundar Kaitra. The name Jagannath school was given by Kishorilal Chowdhury, the Zamindar of Baliadi who took over the school in 1872 and renamed it after his father's name. In 1884, it was raised to a second grade college. Law was one of the first courses introduced in the college. A common management committee administered the school and college until 1887, when the school section was separated to form an independent school named Kishore Jubilee School. It is now known as K L Jubilee School. The administration of the college was transferred to a board of trustees in 1907. In the following year, it became a first grade college. The college started with only 48 students and in five years, the roll raised to 396. In 1910, Raja Manmath Roy Chowdhury, the zamindar of Santosh, tangail affiliated the Pramath-Manmath College of Tangail with Jagannath College.It was known as the best equipped private college in Dhaka as early as 1910. With the establishment of Dhaka University in 1921 the college had to stop admission in Degree courses and was renamed Jagannath Intermediate College. This status was changed after 28 years in 1949, when it reopened Degree classes. The college was taken over by the government in 1968. Jagannath College opened honours and masters programmes in 1975. That year the government once again took over the college and upgraded it into a postgraduate college. In 1982, the college closed its programmes of intermediate level.The college introduced evening shifts in 1992.The college was transformed into the Jagannath University in 2005. At present the University has 31 departments under 6 faculties. The faculties are Science, Arts, Business Studies, Social Science, Law and Fine Arts. Now 460 teachers are engaged in providing quality education of around students on diversified areas. The teachers and students of the college took active part in the Language Movement of the early 1950s, the mass movements of the 1960s and the War of Liberation of the country in 1971. The college produced tens of thousands graduates. Many of them have become famous at home and abroad. Noted among the alumni of the college are sufi motahar hosen (poet), Abdul Hamid (sports organiser and sports journalist), Bhabatosh Dutta (economist), Premendra Mitra (writer and poet), AR Yusuf (Bar-at-Law, State Minister of Bangladesh in early 1980s), A KMA Rouf (artist), Anisuzzaman (educationist, researcher), and Brozen Das (swimmer, the first Indian to swim across English Channel). The Management of University is striving to make this establishment as a center of excellence for creating successful and productive citizens of Bangladesh.

Dhaka City College
Dhaka City College (DCC) is one of the oldest colleges in Bangladesh. It is located at Dhanmondi, kudrat-e-khuda road in Dhaka city. It offers graduation and post graduation course in majors and HSC. The college is affiliated with the National University. Dhaka City College was established in 1957 under the patronage of educationists and social workers. The classes of the college were held at West End High School and thereafter at Dhaka College. In 1970 the college was shifted to Dhanmondi Road No. 2 at its own premises. Among those who contributed to the establishment of this institution, the names of Khan Bahadur Abdur Rahman and Ataur Rahman Khan, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Khaney Alom Khan, former Chairman of the Governing Body arranged financial assistance for the development of the college buildings while he was the Divisional commissioner of Dhaka Division. Heritage School
This is a School that has been established by a group of people who have been serving as a Teacher and working in this filed for a long time. The aim of the School is to serve their beloved motherland, the developing Bangladesh and to make the students a global citizen too. The School is providing education from Pre-School to Advanced level, the school started its journey in the year 2006 in a small floor of Naryanganj Bar Association Building having only 4 Class rooms from Playgroup to Kindergarten II and a small office room with a total area of 2500 square feet. In the year 2007 due to the increased number of students, the school moved to North Chashara to its new campus having total of Square feet with a outdoor playground and classes from Playgroup to ‘O’ Level. In the same year the School got recognition from Edexcel UK and became the registered participating institution Edexcel UK (A Pearson Company) and opened ‘A’ Level. In the year 2008, the ‘O’/’A’ level exam was held for the first time in Naryanganj at Heritage School for all the students of Narayanganj, before that the O and A level students used to appear their exams out of the city. In the year 2013 it moves to the new campus to accommodate the growing number of students. The new campus is a 11 storied building a total of 60500 square feet and designed with spacious class room, canteen, indoor gaming facilities, science lab, computer lab, activity space, library above all it is centrally air conditioned campus. It has a huge outdoor playground too. This is the only ISO certified school in the city. The school is a pioneer in using modern technology. Currently a good number of foreign students from Japan, Philipine, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are studying at Heritage School.
