Szkoła językowa Active Study oferuje kursy języków obcych. We are members of COBIS, the Confederation of British International Schools, and are in the process of planning our first UK school inspection. The International American School of Warsaw (IAS) is an American English-language school founded in 1989, catering to the needs of both the Polish and International communities for grades pre-KG - 12. IAS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme to students completing the course in grades 11 and 12. In addition, IAS provides the only dual diploma system in the country to its non-IB students - the Polish Diploma (limited to Polish students passing the Polish Finishing Exams in both 6th and 12th grades) and the International Diploma (for both Polish & International Students). Accreditation: The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is the first accrediting body. IAS is also accredited by Cognia, an American accreditation organization, and the Polish Ministry of Education (MEN). Students: IAS has a student population of 300, with approximately 50% being Polish students, and the remaining 50% coming from over 30 separate nations. Highlights: IAS is among the top 10 best schools in Poland, according to the Ministry of Education. It is also the only international school certified by the Polish Ministry of Education. School of Polish Language for Foreigners PolishStreet (former DOMINO) was established at the beginning of the 90's. Our courses have been prepared for foreigners staying in Poland either temporary or permanently. We teach Polish and introduce elements of Polish culture and history. We have acquired considerable experience and we have developed our own curriculum. Our strategy aims at meeting the individual needs of foreigners coming to our country.
