St George’s Preparatory School and St George’s Little Dragons Nursery boast some of the finest facilities in Jersey. The school is set in a stunning 35 acre site of woodland, grass playing fields, football pitches, adventure play, award winning sports hall, and an enviable swimming pool. St George’s is a non-selective school promoting a rich, varied and broad education. Our small class sizes and specialist teachers ensure our children are challenged and stimulated to strive for excellence in all they do and achieve their individual best potential. We assess all of our children before they join the school so that we are immediately able to offer whatever learning support they might need. We are quick to identify children with particular gifts and talents and set specific goals to challenge these children further. We also look to challenge children who excel at music, drama and sport. Children are helped to understand themselves as individuals. We recognise that every child is an individual and aim to promote their happiness, self-confidence and well-being as members of a caring community. Our idyllic walled garden for our younger children provides a secure and safe place for our children to play confidently with their friends. In the Manor house and stable block, there is a homely and safe environment where lessons take place in dedicated teaching rooms, by well-qualified specialist teachers. Our pupils enjoy freshly cooked, healthy and nutritious lunches, prepared at school by our Chef, using locally grown produce.
