At Mekodedim, we believe every child can become a creator—not just a consumer—of technology. We teach kids aged 8–14 the foundations of programming through fun, interactive lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and curiosity. Aido-Ai Adaptive Learning

A new chapter begins. After the events of October 7th, I found myself leaving my home in the south and living in BAT-YAM for a year. It was a time of displacement - but also a time of awakening. In the city, I was surrounded by the pulse of innovation and the rapid rise of AI. I felt the FOMO - not just for myself, but for the people and communities I had left behind. I took a leap: I applied for Google-Reichman university's AI & Deep Learning program. I called Google and told them my story - that I was a refugee in my own country. They listened, and they decided to grant me the course – a platform for AI, a platform for my own resilience - completely free. I completed it successfully, and something shifted. It wasn’t enough to move forward on my own. I wanted to give back. I founded my own social-educational-tech startup, with a Zionist heart and a clear mission: To bridge technological knowledge to Israel’s south. To use AI not just as a subject to be learned, but also as a tool to inspire problem-solving, innovation, and self-reliance. I’m starting with middle school and high school students - tomorrow’s engineers, entrepreneurs, and leaders. And in time, I’ll expand to the elder population and even the youngest children. Through courses, workshops, and guidance in hackathons, I want to ensure that every young person here has the skills, mindset, and confidence to shape their own future. When I was in need, I was welcomed and given the tools to grow. Now, I am returning that gift - to my neighbors, to my community, to my country. The south is full of talent, resilience, and untapped potential. My mission is to help it shine.

Shinuy Il

Shinuy IL is an Israeli anti-bullying initiative, founded by Yuval Druckmann, Daniel Naor, and Merav Zilpa. All are victims of bullying originally from Modi’in-Maccabim-Re’ut, as Naor has lived in Austin, TX, for the past few years. We established Project My Lens in our city, which offers phototherapy workshops on social dynamics in elementary schools and is partially government-funded. It allows students to create projects and present them to parents during Friday morning exhibitions. The project cultivates empathy and provides students with tools to support their peers. Druckmann and Zilpa received the 2024 Local Volunteering Excellence Award from Mayor Haim Bibas, among its other recipients. Shinuy IL has assembled the Israeli Forum of Organizations Combating Ostracism, as Druckmann hosted its joint event with Israeli President Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog. The organizations have advised the MOE’s Program for Emotional Assistance and Prevention of Ostracism, spearheaded by Minister of Education Yoav Kisch. This effort is already making a difference: by building up A Voice for Everyone - a dedicated hotline offering direct support to concerned parents, students, and educators. It has also set up integrated intervention teams within schools to provide hands-on assistance where it is most needed. In June 2025, the forum helped convene the Knesset’s Caucus for Combating Bullying and Social Ostracism Phenomena, whose formation we played a key role in almost two years earlier. MKs Shitrit, Tamano Shata, Taieb, Dalal, and Roll signed on as co-chairs. Many students, parents, educators, and prominent public figures took part, including Former Israeli soccer player Omri Kande and Israeli artist Maor Gamliel, who are deeply passionate about helping bullied children and have endorsed our work. We even had an entire class showing up! Shinuy IL transforms how Israel addresses bullying and social rejection.

המרכז לקהילה, מנהיגות והשראה (ק.מ.ה) במכללת אורנים פועל במגוון דרכים ומרחבים לחיזוק ההון האישי והחברתי דרך פיתוח מקצועי ואישי, קהילתיות, סולידריות חברתית, יוזמה ואחריות.|המרכז הוקם באורנים כחלק מהחזון להוביל ולחדש במרחב האזרחי בישראל, בתחומי החינוך ובכלל וזאת באמצעות פיתוח מערכות ומובילי שינוי. מרכז ק.מ.ה פועל באמצעות תוכניות לימודים, הכשרות והתמחויות, שפותחו באורנים ברוח של חברה, קהילה וסביבה. לפי תפיסת מרכז ק.מ.ה, מימוש הפעולה מתבצע בשלושה תחומים עיקריים: ליווי רשויות אזוריות ומקומיות לשם חיזוק יכולת לעבוד בשותפות פנימית ועם התושבים, פיתוח מנהיגות מקומית - ליווי והכשרת בעלי תפקידים מובילים, התייחסות לנרטיב המקומי ומימוש נכסים מקומיים, ופיתוח והצמחה של מנהיגות מקומית. זהו תהליך ייחודי הרואה בהון החברתי את יחידת הערך המשמעותית ביותר, שהיא תנאי לאיתנות קהילתית-חברתית. ליווי מערכות חינוך רשותיות, בתי ספר, פיתוח מקצועי וקורסים בשנת שבתון – תהליכים המתבצעים תוך הסתכלות כוללת על המערכת החינוכית ומתן דגש על תהליכי התפתחות של הילד, המורה והארגון. אחד מן העקרונות שמייחדים אותנו הוא התייחסות של המורה אל קהילת המורים ושל בית הספר לקהילה המקומית, וכן תפקידו של המורה כמנהיג חינוכי בכיתה, בחדר המורים ובישוב. פיתוח מיומנויות, ידע, מנהיגות ויחסים - תהליכים המתבצעים באמצעות סדנאות והתנסויות המבוססות על דרכי ההנחיה והמתודות שפותחו במרכז ק.מ.ה. לימודי תעודה ו לימודי חוץ – קורסים ותוכניות הכשרה במגוון תחומים, כגון מקצועות הטיפול והפסיכותרפיה, לימודי תעודה בתחום לקויות למידה וצרכים מיוחדים, ולימודי תעודה מקצועית בתחומים שונים (ייעוץ ארגוני, הנחיית קבוצות, ספרנות, תרגום וכו'), לימודי אמנות (מהכשרת מדריכים ועד לסדנאות העשרה) ועוד. בנוסף לכך מרכז ק.מ.ה-אורנים מפעיל תכניות לנוער ומנגיש אקדמיה לצעירים באמצעות היחידה לנוער שוחר מדע בתכניות פיתוח מצויינות שונות ובאירועים לקהילה.

תוכניות הכשרה ייחודיות המפתחות חשיבה צופה פני עתיד, ומתחשבות בדרישות הרגולטוריות, ובאחריות הגדולה הנדרשת מדירקטור כיום ובעתיד. המרכז הוקם ב-2013 על ידי רו״ח חן שרייבר, מומחה בהשבחת חברות, יו״ר דירקטוריון ודירקטור בחברות ציבוריות וסגן נשיאת לשכת רואי חשבון לשעבר. סגל המרצים של המרכז כולל את טובי המרצים מתחומי המשפט, הכספים, החשבונאות והניהול. ההכשרות מתמקדות בשלושת המרכיבים העקרים של תפקיד הדירקטור: אחריות, רגולציה, פרקטיקה. חלק עיקרי מההרצאות מוקדש לכלי עבודה ופרקטיקה מעשית לעבודת הדירקטור בפועל. ההרצאות משלבות אירועי מבחן מציאותיים ורלונטים והן מועברות באמצעות סימולציות והדמיית ישיבות בפועל. לדירקטוריון חשיבות אדירה ואחריות מלאה בכישלון העסק או הצלחתו. אנו סבורים שהשבחת החברה ושמירה על איתנותה הפיננסית-הם התפקידים העיקרים של הדירקטור בימינו,לכן אנו מתמקדים בהם. באמצעות קורסי הכשרת הדירקטורים שלנו ירכשו המשתתפים את המיומנויות הדרושות.

מכתוב

סדנת הכתיבה "מכתוב" לצעירות וצעירים בסיכון, מלמדת אותם לכתוב מחדש את סיפור חייהם, בדרך של ראיית הטוב, המבוססת על מסע הפסיכולוגיה החיובית. המשתתפים מגבשים לעצמם לאורך הסדנה את סל החוזקות והאיכויות אותם הם מביאים לעולם, שרכשו דווקא בזכות האתגרים הלא פשוטים שעברו בחייהם הקצרים. הם לומדים שיטות של הודיה והסתכלות על מה שיש לנו, על מה שעובד לנו, על מה שהרווחנו ולא על מה שהפסדנו בדרך. יחד אנחנו אוספים את הסיפורים ומוצאים בתוכם את החוזקות שאותם סיפורים קשים הוציאו מהם בחיים, את העוצמות שהם גילו בעצמם בזמן שחיו את סיפורם, את האיכויות הייחודיות שיש בכל אחת ואחד מהם. יחד אנחנו כותבות סיפור חדש.

Welcome to the HEMDA Alumni group, a network for all graduates of the HEMDA Science Education Center in Tel Aviv. HEMDA is the science campus for Tel Aviv-Yafo’s secondary schools, boasting a superior teaching staff (most of our teachers have a Ph.D. in chemistry or physics) and an extremely advanced work environment. Our lab equipment allows each student to conduct individual experiments, with ample demo equipment and unlimited use of computers. Teamwork facilitates individualized initiatives, contributing to students, science teachers, the Tel Aviv area, and students who do not regularly attend HEMDA.
