Madrassah Haamilaat-Il-Quran

Madrassah Haamilaat-il-Quran was established and began operations in July 2019, initially conducting face-to-face sessions. Approximately twenty-five young Muslimahs actively participate in Quran memorisation during these sessions. Classes are held three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting 30 minutes before Maghrib prayer until Esha prayer. An additional session was introduced in 2023 for selected students on Sunday mornings, focusing on their revision, Alhamdulillah. We aspire to produce Haafidhas of the Quran with Allah's help and blessings, Aameen. Starting in 2022, we introduced face-to-face sessions for ladies as well at Bait-ul-Noor Mosque (Vallée des Prêtres), twice a week. These sessions focus on Quran reading, memorisation, as well as Foundations of Islam (Islamic Studies), and have proven to be successful, Alhamdulillah. Encouraged by this success, we expanded our branch at Masjid Baitur Rahman (Coromandel) in 2023, all concurrently. Additionally, we launched our online platform in November 2021. It includes students primarily from Canada, France, the UK, Reunion Island, as well as various parts of Mauritius, spanning across the entire island. Currently, the Madrassah’s temporary base is at Bait-ul-Noor Mosque, Mauritius.
