O espírito pioneiro da ETIC, baseado no “saber fazer praticando”, levou à abertura de portas desta prestigiada escola a sul do país, na cidade de Portimão, em resposta a uma já grande procura de formação de qualidade nas áreas das indústrias criativas nesta região. Passados 4 anos de uma gratificante experiência na cidade barlaventina, as solicitações da comunidade de estudantes conduziram a que a ETIC_Algarve - Escola de Tecnologias Inovação e Criação do Algarve se reposicionasse geograficamente para uma zona mais central – no Mercado Municipal da cidade Faro, dando uma mais eficaz resposta ao seu público em termos de espaço, acessibilidade e proximidade. Ganhando em amplitude dos espaços e capacidade de expansão, pelas características do próprio espaço físico – instalações com cerca de 600m2, a nova sede da escola oferece um estúdio de fotografia, estúdio de vídeo, uma régie, uma sala de edição, três salas de computadores com 16 postos de trabalho cada, uma sala teórica, espaço lounge, espaço biblioteca e um centro de recursos. As soluções de formação que oferecemos, dividem-se em 6 áreas temáticas, todas elas inseridas no universo das Indústrias Criativas e das Novas Tecnologias: Videojogos: Design: Fotografia: Som & Música: Vídeo: Web & Comunicação. A nossa oferta formativa divide-se em 3 grandes tipologias:# Cursos Técnicos, de 1 ou 2 anos;# Cursos Curtos, formação de curta duração, entre 8 a 90 horas;# A Minha 1ª Vez, cursos que promovem um 1º contacto com estas indústrias a jovens mentes inquietas.
