Hypower Botswana is the sole authorized agent for all Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (MR) products and services in Botswana. MR is a manufacturer of tap changers for transformers worldwide and shares approximately 60% of the world market in voltage control on transformers. Over years through diversification the company has become involved in all other aspects of transformers such as component manufacturing (bushings, PRD’s Buchholz relays, temperature instruments, oil level indicators, monitoring equipment, moisture management equipment etc.) as well as service provision such as maintenance, installation, oil handling, commissioning, monitoring and asset management. Reinhausen South Africa is responsible for the whole of Africa and as such have appointed authorized dealers/agents in a lot of the countries of which Hypower Botswana (Pty) Ltd is the latest addition in Botswana.

Lesedi Boards was established in 1981 to manufacture power skirting and trunking. As more regional manufacturers began producing wireways, management decided to restructure in 1986 to focus on manufacturing electrical distribution boards for the Botswana market. We proudly produce and supply superior quality electrical switchboards, motor control centres, metering kiosks, and feeder pillars. Utilizing our in-house CNC equipment, bending machines, and powder coating facilities, we are able to meet and exceed our customers' specific requirements. Our distribution boards comply with leading local standards and specifications as detailed in the engineers’ requirements. We supply to commercial, hospital, and industrial markets throughout Botswana.
