The Newcastle Entertainment Centre hosts the very best local, national and international events. It is located six minutes from the centre of Newcastle on the Newcastle Showground. The Newcastle Entertainment Centre services a population base in excess of one million patrons. From Coffs Harbour in the north, west to Armidale and Moree as well as the Central Coast of New South Wales. It is the premier regional venue with the sixth largest market in Australia. The site also includes the Newcastle Showground and Newcastle Showground Exhibition Centre. The Newcastle Showground is set on 9.8 hectares and features a show ring which is 150 metres long and 110 metres wide with seating for people and additional standing room depending on each event. There are additional pavilions which can be used for casual hire. The Newcastle Showground Exhibition Centre is a multi-purpose venue with 1,650 square metres of floor space, ideal for exhibitions and clearance sales. It is located directly opposite the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.
