Hip Mould Professionals
HIP is the developer of a rigorously researched process that completely eradicates mould from buildings. Our process is completely unique and proprietary and was developed in partnership with a microbiology laboratory 9 years ago. In that time, we have become the number one choice of home inspectors, property managers and realtors in the region - not only because the service we provide thoroughly kills mould and its spores, but also because we are the only remediation company that guarantees the results over the long term. HIP’s process has no negative impact on the building envelope; no health impact on the building’s inhabitants (four-legged and two-); has the ability to effectively penetrate porous surfaces (so material like wood and insulation does not need replacing); is completed in one day with no lawn or vehicle signs advertising our presence to one’s neighbours; and, identifies and repairs the building deficiencies that led to the mould proliferation. HIP provides a complete Mould Treatment Report for each client — residential and commercial. This includes an assessment of the facility, pictures, air quality test results supplied by an independent accredited lab, and a Clearance Certificate signed by a licensed Professional Engineer. HIP is a member of he Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), carries the maximum in insurance specific to mould remediation, and has progressive employment practices ensuring each step in the process will be handled with contented professionalism. Mould remediation is an unregulated profession: we bid on jobs where our competitors’ quotes range from $500 with little difference in end-effectiveness justifying the price. The firm also has a full suite of geospatial tools for specialized data analysis and GIS-based modelling using the latest techniques and technology.
