Wij adviseren en ontzorgen onze leden bij het duurzaam beheer van bos en natuur. Ons vakmanschap richt zich op alle onderdelen van het beheer; van visievorming en advies, tot beheer, beheerplan en uiteindelijk de uitvoering in het veld. Onze aanpak is realistisch en doelgericht, gebaseerd op deskundigheid, jarenlange ervaring en onze kennis van de nieuwste ontwikkelingen, onze leden en hun terreinen. Er zijn ±500 leden bij Bosgroep Zuid Nederland aangesloten, waaronder particulieren, stichtingen, landgoederen, abdijen, zorginstellingen, natuurbeschermingsorganisaties, waterleidingmaatschappijen en overheden, zoals waterschappen en gemeenten. Samen hebben onze leden ruim hectare bos en natuur. Naast Bosgroep Zuid Nederland is er ook een Bosgroep in Midden Nederland en Noord-Oost Nederland. We werken samen onder de naam De Bosgroepen.

We are a Living Lab. De Groen Hub is een plek voor actieve bewoners in hartje Gaasperdam. Het is een duurzame leer- en doe-gemeenschap die haar deuren wijd openzet voor iedereen die mee wil denken, of mee wil doen. In deze doe/leergemeenschappen zullen duurzame koplopers, sociale kwartiermakers en vak-opleiders samen informeel leren mogelijk maken. De Hub is de uitvalsbasis voor diensten die bijdragen aan een duurzame sociale samenleving. Per project zullen we proberen om het gene dat geleerd is in de gemenschappen om te zetten in samenwerkingsafspraken die bijdragen aan de circulaire economie, dit leggen we vast in een donut-deal genoemd naar de Britse econome Kate Raworth. Verdiensten van de projecten komen ten goede aan de coöperatie (en haar leden), waarna beloning voor inzet mogelijk is naar de keuze die iemand het beste vooruithelpt: investeren in scholing, investeren in bedrijfsmiddelen, uitbetaling in lokale munt of uitbetaling in euro’s (basisinkomen of bijverdienste). Om de samenhang tussen alle thema’s van ‘het grote verhaal’ waar we aan werken (energietransitie, sociale transitie, democratische transitie) zichtbaar te kunnen maken gebruiken we de DonutDeal. Milieu Service Brabant BV is na bijna 75 jaar en drie generaties uitgegroeid tot een middelgroot afvalinzamelingbedrijf dat zich binnen de afvalmarkt een goede positie heeft verworven. Door de beperkte omvang van het bedrijf en het lage verloop van personeel kan een flexibel en professioneel serviceniveau geboden worden. Snel, netjes en verzorgt containers wisselen, rekening houdend met de individuele wensen van de klant, is toch hetgeen waar het in deze branche om draait. Eén van onze hoofdactiviteiten is het plaatsen en ledigen van (rol)containers voor de afvoer van vrijwel alle afvalstromen. Hierbij maken we gebruik van een ruim assortiment aan containers en flexibele ledigingmogelijkheden. Naast de reeds langer bestaande activiteiten als de inzameling, overslag, transport en verwerking van bijna alle voorkomende afvalstoffen heeft Milieu Service Brabant BV zich nu ook gespecialiseerd in het opwerken van afvalhout. Met deze activiteit begeeft Milieu Service Brabant BV zich, naast de traditionele Brabantse markt ook op de Nationale en Internationale markt. Deze ontwikkeling brengt in een sneltreinvaart nieuwe marktmogelijkheden en een stijging in het totale te verwerken volume. Om deze trend een stap voor te zijn heeft Milieu Service Brabant BV geïnvesteerd op de lange termijn en is een nieuwe machine aangekocht voor de opwerking van afvalstoffen als sloophout en groenhout. Deze machine is op het moment, onder andere op het niveau van capaciteit, een van de beste machines verkrijgbaar op de Europese markt. Op de traditionele markt van inzameling en transport heeft Milieu Service Brabant BV zich door de loop der jaren een steeds nieuwer autopark kunnen permitteren. Dit houdt in dat zowel op de inzameling als op het af transport gewerkt wordt met moderne wagens en dat hierdoor niet alleen voor de werknemers een fijne werkbare situatie is gecreëerd, maar ook de continuïteit optimaal gewaarborgd is voor de klanten van Milieu Service Brabant BV.
