Silva Futures
Silva Futures restores abandoned forest ecosystems. We buy and revive stumpage and abandoned agricultural land suitable for forestry. We plant trees and take care of early maintenance. We offer young 10-15 years old forests, which do not require maintenance investments. Benefits: • Investment backed by real property • Forest available to non-foresters • Solving the most challenging works of forestry • Direct carbon impact • High quality forests absorb and maintain 2x more CO2 than unmanaged forests. Managed forests' wood is up to 2.5x more valuable and retains CO2 for many generations as material, whilst low quality wood ends up as chips or paper, but even decomposing emits carbon-dioxide.
